Major Duties and Responsibilities

Presently, working as an outsourced IT Engineer in Tawam Molecular Imaging Center (A Healthcare project of Mabadala).
* Working as a front end support for all IT issues .
* Managing users under the environment of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 / XP clients.
* Administring a Siemens medical system SYNGO & Building Managment System.
* Liaison with contractors and vendors for updates and maintenance.
As SERVICE DESK Engineer in (Abu Dhabi Ports Company).

* Provided support to ADPC and its contractor companies Bechtel, Mouchel, Fujitsu etc. having more than 500 users across 6 sites and head office.
* Interaction with the end-user for first level desk side support.
* Installation and configuration of Microsoft and other products e.g. Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003 / 2007, Visio 2003 / 2007, Project 2003 / 2007, Infoworks, Adobe Professional, AutoCAD 2007, AutoDesk 2009 etc. Some of Windows 2003 servers.
* Domain Users and Exchange Mail accounts management.
* Configuration of email accounts in Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007.
* Creation of new user accounts for Infoworks.
* Virus / Spy ware cleaning operation on desktop.
* Preparing new ghost images and keeping them up to date with latest upgrades of softwares and windows security updates.
* Follow-up of Service Desk calls and communication.
* Installation and configuration of Cisco IP Phones using Cisco Call Manager and Unity Admin.
Additional Responsiblitie

* Dealing with vendors for warranty of IT equipments and servicing of printers.
* Inventory updates.
• Working as IT Help Desk Engineer providing user support by using remote desktop software.
• Providing end user training & managing principal provided applications INFOAXS & INFOLITE etc.
• Installation & configuration of Courier Management System (an in-house developed system in VB)
• Managing and maintaining the local area network (LAN)
• Domain Users and Exchange Mail accounts management
• Installation and configuration of Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003 & other business application.
• Configuration of email accounts on Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook 2003 with Exchange Server 2003.

• Deployment of basic IT infrastructure on countrywide branches & outlets.
• Team member of OAP (OCS Automation Project) for coordination with TSD (ThreeSixty Degree solution provider).
• Installation and configuration of desktop operating systems Windows 98, 2000 and XP connectivity with Novell Netware, Windows NT, 2000 and 2003 servers accordingly.
• Installation and configuration of Office application.
• Configuration of email clients e.g Outlook Express, Ms-Outlook 2000/2003 and Netscape Communicator using POP3 and IMAP protocols.
• Configuration of dialup internet accounts.
As a STEPS Administrator

• Monitoring and Administration of STEPS.
• Error logs checking and taking action for preventing errors next.
• Installation of new STEPS clients and troubleshooting.
• Communication of all the problems and upgrades with the liaison of Singapore hub and Tokyo head office.
• A small part of administration of Lotus Notes databases.
• Backup of STEPS databases and renewal of licensing.
As an I.T Coordinator

• Installation and up gradation of new FOCUS clients.
• Training and Troubleshooting of FOCUS.
• Communication of all the problems and upgrades with the liaison of concern overseas office (Amman - Jordan).
• Installation and preparation of PC/Servers
• Interfaced in Department requirements
• Performed Technical Evaluation for new IT requirements
• Coordination with the vendors working on contracts.
