Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for Cluster optimization.
Responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and giving recommendations to
improve Call Failure and Dropped call for CS and PS short calls.
Responsible for RF Coverage optimization and reduction of pilot pollution by
Ec/No, RSCP, SINR and PCI improvements.
Responsible for preparing the comprehensive Final Acceptance Report.
Detail analysis of Poor RSCP, low SINR and degraded Ec/No.
Handover optimization for inter-frequency and intra-frequency.
Neighbor planning and technology fall-back optimization.
Low throughput analysis.
Identify Radio Network Functionality Problems such as high CS drop call rate
due to hardware faults.
Team coordination for proper
Participated in mobile operator network planning and deployment.
Knowledge of completion of phases in the RF planning life cycle - link budgeting, site selection, backhaul planning, RF propagation modeling, fine tuning and optimization.
Radio Network Frequency Planning.
Frequency Planning for Micro and Macro Sites.
Coordinated with the vendor for Global Frequency change.
Coordinated with the Vendor for Proposing Frequencies for the new sites.
Deep knowledge of GSM, 3G and LTE technology and network architecture in RAN and Core.

Produce coverage prediction and submit for approval to the team lead.
Simulate and optimize predictions to meet the required threshold for acceptance.

Managing and Supervising Drive Test Engineer Teams.
Resolving and dealing all project related issues by coordinating with Project Managers.
Supervising all project activities including providing technical and coordination with site management activities
Coordinating with Drive Test Engineers for their daily and weekly tasks.
Determining actual network coverage & performance of 2G network.
Extensive use of Actix Analyzer for analyzing log files.
Resolving customer complaints and cluster drive issues in cities, highways and remote areas.
Analyzing Drive Test log files and finding the reason for Poor coverage, Interference, Drop calls and other issues.

Used Google Earth Professional and MAP info Professional to find out the location of given Cells and Clusters.
Issue based drive testing to analyze RF issues and proposing solution.
Extensive use of TEMS investigation tool for Drive testing.

WCDMA drive testing using TEMS.
Data testing HSUPA analysis and HSDPA analysis.
RF Drive test in Dedicated/Idle mode along with Short & Long Calls.

I have got training in Radio Network Engineering department in LCC on Mobilink cellular network in Pakistan (Karachi). I have gained valuable exposure in the following activities:
Global Drive testing of major areas to analysis radio conditions.
Issue based drive testing to analyze RF issues and proposing solution.
