Job Responsibilities and duties Description
- Using BIM software (such as Revit, NAVIS Works, ACC, GAMMA AR), create and review detailed 3D models of
mechanical systems including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Design review of HVAC systems regarding it’s validity and applicability for construction.
- Recommend new routing and sizing to avoid clashes while modeling.
- Over viewing the project specifications to meet the design criteria and the project requirements without violating the
codes standards.
-Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that mechanical systems are
integrated seamlessly into the overall building design.
-Coordination with other threads to avoid clashes with each other throughout works above false ceiling or on the
reflected ceiling.
-Pay site visits frequently to check the installments and reviewing to update the graphical using Gamma AR.  Perform clash detection analysis to identify and resolve conflicts between mechanical systems and other building components (such as structural elements, electrical systems, etc.) to prevent issues during construction using NAVIS WORKS software.
- Generate accurate quantity takeoffs and material schedules from the BIM models to assist in cost estimation and
procurement & send it to the technical office for final revision before sending them to the procurement team.
- Provide support during the construction phase by reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs (Requests for Information),
and participating in site inspections to verify that installations align with the BIM models and design intent.
- Effectively communicate with team members, clients, and contractors to convey design intent, resolve issues, and ensure
smooth coordination throughout the project.
- Taking out a fully annotated sheets, call out or scope boxes to be approved from the consultant.
- Making RFI’s asking the consultant for points in the design package for clarification.
- Extracting RFP on rerouting or reschedule any element within the information model.
- Extracting AS Built documents to be submitted to the appointing party.

-Preparing BOQ'S related with the quantities and prices related to the project.
-Project documentations throughout creating detailed technical plans, equipment
schedules, technical documentations, vendor lists and installation guidelines.
-Coordination with other MEP threads to avoid clashes with each other throughout
works above false ceiling or on the reflected ceiling.
