-I implemented a complete new set of corporate governance, policies and procedures which lead to +15% decrease in expenses.
-Implemented the ERP with all related modules including CRM which lead to an increase in the sales.

Finance Director at El Sewedy Electrical Solutions

-Previously known as Zaki El Sewedy Group, the group has been leader in the electrical power and lighting products retail and distribution market since 1938 and started moving into manufacturing since 2006.

-In early 2013 I was one of team who lead a major corporate transformation and implementation of corporate governance for the group, reorganizing the Finance team after the merger of the group into one company with the brand El Sewedy Electrical Solutions.

-Restructured the Finance Department into Accounting, treasury, budgeting, costing. The restructure included the addition of the IT department in my responsibilities.

-Implemented a complete new set of corporate governance policies and procedures, authority matrix and a state of the art ERP and collaboration system.

-Building the lines of business, project construction activity, defining the manufacturing lines to process and discrete, cost centers, keys of allocation of administrative cost over the lines of business, profit and loss statement for the business lines and type as distribution, business sector, direct retail or project construction.

-Was in the team who safely steered the company through the most difficult period of its history, through the severe economical recession and political turbulence that engulfed Egypt following the 2011 uprising.

-Joined Rhone Poulenc Rorer on 1995 as Accounting Manager of the scientific office
on 1997 promoted to Financial Manager of the new RPR trading company, with the
merger of RPR and Hoechst, I was nominated as Treasury Manager of Aventis.

-Negotiating with 13 banks, overdraft facilities, FX deals, swap, forward deals and
Cash requirements in order to cover the company’s requirements.

-Following up the shares and bonds of the company, dividends preparation
bond’s calculation at maturity, covering any information required from the
shareholders.

-Negotiating with the head quarters the cash flow situation and ways to get any
required in-flows with the best cost.

-Implementation of the Treasury modules, such cash flow, payables aging,
receivables aging on the SAP.
