working as senior electrical engineer and team leader for the electrical site inspection team at the midfield terminal project.
• Review Review/approve and process all electrical method statements, ITP’s that have to be complied with the project contract documents and the authorities’ regulations.
• Managing, guiding the site team/inspectors in all construction/ installations activities at site which are related to Electrical systems.
• Reviewing contractor’s correspondences related to Electrical works and preparing appropriate response as necessary.
• Review the Requests for Information (RFI) that related to Electrical works to give the contractor the required advice/instruction on the right time.
• Monitoring MEP site work progress that shall be in line with the project base line program.
• Preparing site observations and NCRs if the works found neither as per the project specifications nor the contract documents.
• Preparing and chairing all electrical meetings to monitor the progress of all of the above with contractors and client.
• Participating all the QA/QC meetings to discuss and action all the quality related issues.
• Providing the required supports and survey reports for the senior management as required.
• Setting up workshops to discuss project constraints and ensure resolving with respective party such as Engineering, Procurement, construction etc.
• Regular visits to Project site to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report any deviations.
•Review/approve and process all electrical and electronic work shop drawings/sketches and material submittals that have to be complied with the project contract documents and the authorities regulations.

•Reviewing contractor’s correspondences related to Electrical works and preparing appropriate response as necessary.

•Monitoring MEP site work progress that shall be in line with the project base line program.
•Preparing site observations and NCRs if the works found neither as per the project specifications nor the contract documents.
•Attending/inspecting all testing and commissioning activities for all Electrical and electronic systems before handing over the same to authorities/client.
•Suggesting value engineering study, handling the related negotiation and evaluating all variation orders in accordance to the contract documents and the related correspondences.
•Following up Electrical Design NOC’s with Authorities (DEWA, DM, ETISALAT, CIVIL DEFENSE…..etc.).
•Study/review and approve contractor's monthly payments.
•Preparing and chairing all MEP meetings to monitor the progress of all of the above with contractors and client

• Responsible for planning and scheduling of all major activities of the Project to achieve timely completion of the Project.
• Fully responsible for all contractual issues related to the day-to-day running of the Project.
• Responsible for managing a Staff/Labor in the project.
• To be overall responsible for overseeing and effective execution of all project related activities under the instructions of the JEM Management.
• To determine all Project requirements (Technical & General).
• To ensure the timely submittal of all project submittals and obtaining approvals (Samples, Shop Drawings, Design Details, Work Procedure, Method statements Schedules, Programs etc.)
• To arrange timely obtaining of all clearances, approvals, permissions, etc as may require from time to time from any of the statutory authorities during the execution of the Project.
• To schedule and plan all project activities in line with Master Program in co-ordination with the Planning Engineer.
• To receive all project related instructions from the Client, Engineer, Main Contractor, etc and transmit, communicate and arrange effective action in co-ordination with the JEM Management.
• To give all notices, etc to the Client/Engineer/Main Contractor under the instructions of the JEM Management.
• To attend all project related meeting with Client/Engineer/Main Contractor and reporting back to the Division Manager on the proceedings as well as to attend all project related meetings.
• Assignment of all project related activities to all resources.
• To evaluate the requirement of all project resources (materials, machinery, manpower) as per schedule and arrange for the availability of the same.
