Account Security Officer is expected to provide the following Account Security Planning Support, Security Management monitoring and reporting, security self-assessments, Risk management operations, Incident management support, Audit coordination and support and Security Management common program management. This would entail in general the following expectations for a client-facing role:

7. Leading Governance on project and design initiatives to provide Security Transition & Transformation: policy alignment, coordination of all required GRC work
1.Facilitate all business related systems development work through the Risk Review Life Cycle process:
o. Assess potential business impact that could result from a security breach, and the resultant value of the security of information;
o. Identify security weaknesses and vulnerabilities;
o. Model security threat scenarios and assess the likelihood of such threat scenarios;
o. Assess the overall risk level and identifying and recommending appropriate controls to manage the risk.
2. Risk Analysis of systems and infrastructures under development:
o. Assist the relevant business and Technology parties in the application of the Risk Process and Policy
o. Liaise with these groups to ensure early involvement of the Risk Process in new developments.
o. Assist both business and technology to develop appropriate architecture and standards in response
3. Provide Ad hoc security consultancy on:
o. Policy and standards interpretation
o. Security Design and Risk Issues
4. Work with other risk functions to enable an informed understanding of the effectiveness of technology controls in mitigating their risks.
5. Information security policy review and updatation as per the business and industry requirements.
6. Work with regulators to ensure business applications/Infrastructure meet regulatory requirements.
