- Leading a Team of seven architects.
-Handling the Projects in GCC and Africa throughout the Design stages including client brief, Concept Design, Schematic Design, and Detailed Design.
-During the design stage to coordinate with all Disciplines “Client, Stakeholders, Team, Subs …etc” and also control the Time, Cost and Quality of the Project.
Major responsibilities:
- Supervise designers and modelers; including, developing work assignments, scheduling, training, performance appraisals and the like.
- Develop and manage the virtual construction process including procedures, policies and forms to be used in the management of design department workflow to ensure deadlines are met.
- Works directly with Project management, field management to develop strategy on projects.
- Tracks overall BIM budgets on projects.
- Understands projects BIM Execution Plan.
- Trains and educates direct reports on best practices, BIM standards, and career development
- Maintains and ensures BIM standards are being followed & workflow processes are being met.
- Attends kick off meetings, clash detection meetings, and other project meetings as required
- Works with VPO’s on overall BIM strategy for each division and corporate
- Manage model exchanges including updating models received from the Client in a timely manner as well as transmit model to the Client.
- Prepare record (“as-built”) models from Contractor redlines.
- Prepared Tender Documents forbidding.
- Prepared technical and financial proposals for clients and consultants
- Involved in the business development and strategic planning for business expansion
- Developed conceptual design proposals
- Drafted contracts and legal documents
- Coordinated with structural and MEP designers.
- Worked on getting approval from Dubai Authorities (Dubai municipality, RTA, Civil Defense, TRAKHEES, NAKHEEL, DIP, TECOM....)
-Produced rough sketches and mood boards(collection of suitable images, colors and materials)
- Developed detailed designs using (CAD) software designs or smallscale models
Chose the most appropriate materials according to the design and the budget, advised clients on progress, and provided them with samples of paints and fabrics to be used
- Supervised the work as it is carried out
