- Upgrading of student residential buildings- KAUST
- Fire Booster pump for Campus Buildings- KAUST
- Emergency generator Building extension with additional 3 Generators capacity of 2 MW each- KAUST
Work responsibilities:
• Mechanical engineering unit Head, responsible of team of two mechanical engineers and 5 autocad operators to generate design and shop drawings for ongoing projects and new projects for estimation and bidding.
• Managing sub-contractors.
• Key Person site management team.
• Design engineering for all mechanical services ( Chilled water, Ducts, Fire Network, Drainage network, Water Supply)
• Assisting mechanical estimator department for BOQ correction and project bidding.
• Installation, testing and commissioning of chilled water network, fire network, HVAC systems - FCU / Ducting, drainage network, water supply network and BMS systems.
• Material Take off, releasing purchase orders as per approved material submittals and project specs.
• Review of MTR prior submittal
• Leader of mechanical team, site surveillance, follow up of construction schedule on daily basis.
• Attending daily meeting with PMT (CH2/ SAPMT) and client (KAUST).
• Revise of IFC drawings.
• Preparation of shop drawing and coordination drawing.
• Provision of weekly planning based on project progress in coordination with planning engineer using PRIMAVERA.
• Preparation of two weeks looks ahead schedule and compare with planed schedule.
• Preparation of redline and As-Built drawings.
• Installation of MEP services based on engineering codes such as : ASHRAE, UPC, IPC, IMC, UMC, NFPA, NEC, SATIP and SAEC
• Submitting RFI, MRI and testing packages in coordination with QC inspector.
• Prepare of construction method statement prior work permit issuance for any activity.
• Prepare of snag list prior hand over.
• Submit of commissioning package prior to project hand over
Leading of mechanical trade for operation and maintenance of HVAC, fire fighting and plumbing services, in addition to new installation and commissioning of new equipment that reflect the designer advice and wasn't properly installed due to construction deficiencies.
-verifying the existing equipment selection by generating engineering calculation and technical reports in order to replace it with compatible equipment further of client approval.
-managing a staff of skilled people- mechanical.
-dealing with client requirement on weekly basis meetings.
