Analyze and resolve technical issues logged under remedy incidents for established networks.

Troubleshooting & configuration on Metro-e & Legacy SSG i.e. BRAS (provides services & plan for different type of Broadband & DSL customers) & Firewall (Route, NAT & Access-list)
Providing L2 support for Escalated case of No Browsing, Slow browsing, Site not opening, Mailing issue, latency, Routing & Hardware issue of Lease Line, Wimax & Wireline Customers.
Coordination with L3 Team & Cisco Engineers for resolving escalated issues.
L1 engineers co-ordination to resolve the issues & achieve better uptime & Handling Migration activities.
Coordination with field operations for the resolution of faults.
Responsible for server (DHCP Server & PEM Server) management, Data backup, Window update & patch up gradations.
Monitoring all over India Network through Broadband NMS, E1R2, Solar winds, what’s up Gold & CACTI.
Troubleshooting & configuration of LAN, VLAN, port security & STP on switches (2950, 3750, and 6500).
Providing support for slow browsing, Site not opening Mailing issue, latency, Routing & Hardware issue of Customers.
Coordination with L2 & L3 support on escalated issue.
Monitoring All India Sites through NMS & Co-ordination with Field engineers for faster resolution. This mainly involves monitoring network 24/7 through NMS (Network Management System) and Service Management Tools like Remedy, Spectrum.
Logging fault, performing diagnostics/analysis on the relevant circuits and raising a supplier ticket and chasing that fault for resolution within the stipulated SLAs.
Monitoring High Utilization alerts on the LAN network, Packet drops and performs IP Accounting function and reports them to customer.
Co-ordination with different Vendors (BSNL, Vodafone, Sify, Bharti, TATA, Railtail, HCL, Tatanet VSAT) for resolving connectivity issue.
