Responsible for the technical operations of the DP2 AHTS and PSVS (22 units under me) all under contract with Saudi Aramco and operating around KSA.

In charge of 19 vessels (High Speed PAX Ferries, Oil Tankers, LPG Tankers, Private Yachts), removed two Turkish ship management companies, developed an in-house Marine Engineering Division, responsible for selection, hiring. 18X (Electrical/Mechanical and HVAC Engineers), developed and wrote the Operations Manual in line with ISM, SOLAS and IMO Guidelines. Re-instated vessels to active class. Created and in-house engineering workshop facility, docked 8 High Speeds PAX Ferries, partly rebuilt them to make them suitable for Gulf Operation. Created long term service agreements with Fuel Suppliers, Engine Manufacturers and other suppliers. Reduced operating costs and introduced proper Marine Standards to the Hospitality Industry.
Efficient, Effective, Economic and Safe Management of the Company’s Vessels (28 Units, Not DP Classed) . To ensure Marine assets comply with all statutory and legislative matters, with particular attention to the ISM/ISPS codes, class requirements/salvage association/lease agreements and all engineering related matters. Providing input to the Commercial Team with particular reference to the provision of Marine delivery and tender overhaul strategy. responsible for the Line Management of all Marine Staff at Sea. Providing input for the development of existing staff, and succession planning. Preparing dry dock/ refit specifications. Fleet operations area: Arabian Gulf
Ensuring Company owned and managed vessels - Global Fleet (15 DP1 and DP2 units) are operated in a safe, efficient and economical manner and in full compliance with Class and Statutory regulations. Monitoring that IMCA guidelines and “best industry practices” were adhered to at all times. Arranging and attending DP Trials, FMEA Audits worldwide. Updating the OVID vessel OVPQ technical database and maintaining work relationships with external parties such as; Class - Flag State, Agents & Clients. leading the fleet according good practices and optimized the operations, logistics. Co-ordinate and communicate with inter departments on matters affecting vessel operations. responsible for selecting qualified marine staff. Reviewing operational reports and providing recommendations, input to the regional area manager. Follow-up of key issues, contributing towards achieving HSE, maintenance, in line with asset's KPI's targets.
The safe, efficient operational & technical management of Deep Sea Azimuth stern-drive tugs & Anchor handling Tugs, where special emphasis was laid on the technical management of the vessels. Sanctioning all repairs on board. Assist vessels in solving technical problems for instance by arranging external supplies and services, prepared, executed dockings. Ensuring that crews are adequately trained and properly supervised for operations on the vessels. Following up on technical matters, planned maintenance, relevant services including dry-docking and repairs, third party ship inspections / vetting inspections and audits of the vessels. Providing adequate shore-based supports and resources to the vessels. Implementing and verifying Company's Quality Management System (QMS) for safe and efficient operations.
