The company has recently been established by a number of leading Saudi Businessmen and Saudi Group of companies. On a 3 million SQM land located in Salman Bay, the company is presently developing a large partially water front mixed used development project. Besides creating the HR and Support Services Department, the scope of my work includes a close cooperation with the CEO in the strategic and operational management of the early stages in the company’s life, which also encompasses other areas such as the development of the company’s budget, Authority Matrix, and company MBOs and KPIs. But the core of my work remains centered on HR and support services (procurement, IT and facility management), drafting policies and procedures for the new structure and keeping them in line with the external and internal changes that might occur.
Rubaiyat Fashion Group is a subsidiary of Rubaiyat Company for Industry and Trade RCIT one of the companies under Beit BinZagr Group. I was appointed to lead the entire HR Department for 8 companies under the Fashion Group in addition to 2 JVs and a workforce of more than 700 employees across the Kingdom, UAE, and Bahrain. I was also a member of the Company's Steering Committee, Group Capital Committee and Executive Committee. The objective of my role was to develop and implement HR strategies that are in line with the companies' vision for growth with a particular focus on Human capital development to establish the group of companies as a leading employer in the very competitive retail fashion industry in KSA.
EME is a business subsidiary under Emaar Properties created to develop several real estate projects in KSA. Reporting to the MD/GM of the company, my role was to lead the department to formulate, develop and evaluate HR and Corporate Services strategies, policies and procedures, methods and resources to continue to meet the underlying objectives of Emaar in Saudi Arabia. My role was also extended to support other Emaar International business segments requiring HR or Corporate Services support in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
UBT is a private university that offers various graduate and undergraduate programs. My role at the Girls’ campus was to manage faculty and administrative staff HR related affairs including recruitment, faculty assessment, develop the Personnel Manual, payroll and personnel administration. I was also the HR Oracle Program Key User.
