Job Profile & Responsibilities;
Electrical Engineer having more than 6 years of experience in Building Construction & Electrical Substations Field. Registered member of Saudi Council of Engineers ( SCE ).
Good Working experience in the variety of projects, such as Hospital Projects, Commercial Projects & Residential Projects.
Currently working as an Electrical Engineer Consultant having experiences in Installing, Testing & Commissioning of Internal Electrification and power Jobs (Low Voltage, Medium Volt. with all internal & external electrification & Low Current System)
Monitoring and inspecting the installation of Low voltage, Medium Voltage and Low Current Systems as per Project Specifications and NEC Standards such as Transformer Installation, Panel & Switchgear Installations, Power systems, Lighting systems, Cable tray, Lightning Protection, Fire alarm systems, Access control systems, Nurse call, Public Address System, Patient Support System, Telephone & Data System, IPTV System, Master Clock, HVAC power and cable laying
Cable Management System such as Cable Tray, Cable Trunk, Raceways and Cable Ladders.
Cable Laying & Required Cable size Calculations.
PVC Piping, EMT Conduiting & Slab Conduiting Works
Working experience for High Voltage System installation ( Isolating breakers, Power Transformers, Switchgear Panel, Auxiliary Transformers, Substation Earthing System etc.)
Excellent working knowledge of NBC, NFPA, Japanese Codes, Saudi Codes and other local codes, as well as good working knowledge of Mechanical Super visionary works, can be an advantage for the employers.
A keen communicator having the ability to communicate to people across all hierarchical levels in the organization and to create a healthy relationship with all the heads and managers to solicit their support in achieving the functional and business goals of the organization.
Undertake technical reviews, peer reviews, checks and contribute to the design.
Reviewing of the Shop drawings prepared by the Contractors in accordance with the Design drawing, Project Specification, Saudi codes and BOQ before its release for the implementation on the Site.
Provide continuous feedback to the Local Head of organization on the effectiveness of the protocols and processes in place with a view to continuous improvement.
Develop positive professional relationship with the Consulting ME Team, communicating openly about project progress.
Participate in Project meetings, team meetings, disseminate information within the team, and communicate with other teams in REKP
Attend meeting with SEC( Saudi Electric Company) to discuss any issues related to our design
Inspection of Electrical works in compliance with Project specification, NFPA and Saudi Codes
Identify and act on, or refer, potential risk issues and follow in full the company commercial and contracting processes
Fully conversant with technical softwares such as Dialux and Autocad
Keeping eyes on project progress to make sure if the deadline by the Client can be achieved
Make engineering calculations in connection with field and office assignments
Technical Capabilities:
Preparation of Panel Board Schedule as per the required cable size and Breaker ratings
Excellent working knowledge of the RMU ( Ring Main Unit ), ATS ( Automatic Transfer Switch) systems and Transformers
Sound knowledge of GIS ( Gas Insulated Substation) system.
Good knowledge of required Lux Calculation
Excellent working knowledge for the testing and commissioning of Low Volt. and Medium Volt Electrical Panels.
Excellent on and off field knowledge of low current systems such as Fire Alarm Systems, Telephone and Data system, Intercom & Access control System
Calculation as well as monitoring of Earthing systems
Sound knowledge of the electrical materials having accreditation by UL, NESMA, SASO

Job Profile & Nature of Job
❑ Directly reporting to MEP Manager. Presently leading a team of 100+ manpower including supervisors, foreman, Leadsman, Electricians and Helpers for handling 8 floors of the 22 storey building.
❑Preparation of Shop drawings for the implementation of the works on site.
❑ Monitoring and inspecting the installation of Low voltage and Low Current System as per Project Specifications and NEC Standards such as Power systems, Lighting systems, Cable tray, Lightning Protection, Fire alarm systems, Access control systems, Nurse call, Public Address System, Patient Support System, Telephone & Data System, IPTV System, Master Clock, HVAC power and cable laying
❑ Responsible for assisting construction crews of the company by checking material lists and construction plans for the project, assembling and laying out the necessary supplies, and delivering material and supplies to the job site as needed.
❑ Responsible for preparing material take off/estimate and request. Deliver equipment and materials to construction site and performing related duties as required.
❑ Responsible for preparing the Material Submittal and Material Inspection Request for the material approval from Consultant
❑ Responsible for preparing the RFI's (Request for Inspection) and dealing with the consultant during inspection
❑ Implement the quality engineering standard and project specification, by inspection of the workmanship of the installation and notify/inform deficiency to the Project Manager.
❑ Assist in preparing ACAD as Built drawings of completed project.
❑ Inter services co-ordination on site of the project.
❑ Attending the co-ordination meetings held by project managers for co-ordination of other services with architects, consultants and main contractors.
