ADHENO Integrated Rural Development Association. ADHENO is an indigenous non governmental organization working on rural development in North Shoa, Amhara Regional State. Major activities include:
Producing project proposals based on donors call
Conduct monitoring and evaluation of the projects
Write up of report on regular basis
Lead and facilitate different events that concerns the project with stakeholders
Represent the
German Foundation for World Population (DSW) an international NGO based in Germany, promoting and implementing Population, Environment and Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health programs through Youth to Youth Model as coordinator of this Youth to Youth Program. The program is being carried out in partner with local partners and youth clubs (most of them are Fistula and anti HIV/AIDS clubs) disbursed all over the country. Major duties and responsibilities among others include:-
Appraise project proposals of partner organizations
Monitor & Supervise proper implementation of project
Lead the development and review of program activities
Ensure and actively take part in the implementation of program activities
Formulate annual operational plan and budget of the program
Develop reporting, monitoring and evaluation guide line and procedures
Facilitate networking and alliance with stakeholders for institutional capacity development
Closely follow-up and monitor the activities of partner organizations and youth clubs
Organize and facilitate training workshops
Contribute article for the monthly magazine of the organization
Consortium of Christian Relief Development Association (CCRDA). CCRDA is an umbrella organization for NGOs that facilitates, coordinate and support the work of its members. Currently CCRDA has 348 members (all NGOs). These member agencies are engaged in diverse activities covering broad areas ranging from simple service delivery to project funding, action research and capacity building. CCRDA also execute different development programs in collaboration with local and international organizations. One of such programs is the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) funded Program. The program has been implemented by 22 project implementing partners focusing on HIV/AIDS and Environment and Natural Resource Protection in seven regions of the country. As program officer of this program, I perform the following main activities in collaboration with the program coordinator:-
Actively involve in project development process
Appraise project proposals of partner organizations;
Ensure documentation of all relevant documents and best practices;
Organize and coordinate capacity building trainings to members of project implementing partners
Conduct field level monitoring/mentoring service
Prepare narrative and financial report
Assist the program coordinator as required
Action Professionals’ Association for the People (APAP) indigenous NGO working for the empowerment of women and children.

Follow-up and monitor the activities of legal aid centers
Organizing and facilitating human rights focused training programs in general and women and child right in particular
Developing human rights focused training manuals with special emphasis to women and child right
Participating in the conduct of action research
Coordinating and supervising projects undertaken by community level voluntary institutions
