I was responsible for
managing and organizing major college events and annual programs. I led a team of 10 council members
and coordinated with more than 50 volunteers to successfully conduct 5 major events, including the
Annual Fest, Freshers Welcome, Alumni Meet, Cultural Week, and Sports Day. I handled end-to-end
Student Council event planning by setting goals, creating timelines, assigning tasks, and managing logistics. I also
prepared event budgets and ensured all activities were completed within budget, while reducing costs by
15% through vendor negotiations. Additionally, I presented event plans and progress updates to college
management for approvals and managed post-event feedback and reports to help improve future events.
