Take leadership in managing QPM’s Integrated Management System (Quality, HSE, Risk and Information Security) in line with the international standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 31000). Implement methodologies, processes and tools for Quality, HSE, Risk and Information Security to ensure high quality, world class project management services to Clients. Corporate and Project Duties detailed as follows;
CORPORATE DUTIES:
• Act as a company Corporate Governance focal point to coordinate and execute necessary controls as part of the Company’s Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) once a year, collect evidences, coordinate execution between QPM and Barwa management (parent company), stakeholders in the relevant agreements and Qatar Govt. requirements (Qatar Financial Market Authority).
PROJECT DUTIES:
• Responsible for developing and maintaining the Project Quality Plan and all documents associated with the Quality Management System such as project specific procedures and forms during the startup of the Project.
• Carrying out internal audits within PMCM team, 2nd party audits with Supervision Consultant, Contractors & Subcontractors and monitoring corrective actions. Conduct Factory visit/audit to ensure the quality of products of the potential Contractors/Subcontractors/Suppliers during Prequalification process. Performing Regular Quality Walk Down in collaboration with Supervision Consultant and Contractors.
• Played an important role and outstanding contributions as Sr. QAQC Engineer in the following Projects:
Lusail Plaza Towers (High Rise), QP District (High Rise), Sheraton Park, Barwa Projects (PPP Schools, Labour Accommodation, Madinat Al Mawater, Barwa Commercial Avenue, Barwa City), Oryx Tower, Lusail Katara Twin Tower, Doha Marriot Hotel, Tazi Palace Hotel Morocco, Giordino Mall, Qatar Rail, Lusail Roads & Bridges (CP04), Internal Security Forces (ISF) and Supreme Committee Q2022 Training Camp Site.
Led the organization in the development and approval of work procedures and the required templates and forms which are not there previously and identified the processes needed for the quality management system and their application for the various operations.
•Improved and optimized Operations efficiency by proposing better ways, means and tools in the documentation of Tanween's Quality Management System, standardizing processes to create consistency and completing quality assurance audits in corporate and project level.
• Provided technical support to Quality Manager to manage and synchronize the compliance with the Client requirements, regulatory and quality of all telecommunication activities on a USD 60 million project contract to design & construct cable infrastructure, integrate telecommunication & IT systems manage the Public Address and Alarms at Ras Laffan port in Qatar;
• Completed daily quality inspection thru RFI (Request for Inspection) for cable trays, PVC conduit, communication cabinets, CISCO, CAT 6, and other telecom and system related computerized equipment’s installations in compliance with Qatar Telecom, Qatar ICT standards, Qatar Petroleum standards and related international standards. Performed fiber optics testing such as fiber length and overall attenuation including splice loss verification, insertion loss testing & link budget verification using Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) & optical test equipment.
Oversaw documentation, maintenance, review and improvement of UNIMIX quality management system as directed by the Group General Manager. Assured the compliance with the requirements of the standards and specifications used by the Laboratory Department such as American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), British Standards Institution (BSI) and American Concrete Institute (ACI) to ensure high quality ready-mix product and technical service are provided to the Client;
•Played an important role in winning the opportunity to be the main supplier of ready-mix concrete in one of the big project in Dubai with value of USD 18B by constituting technically competent tender.
In-charged for Quality Report, Document and Quality Records Control, Safety Standards Inspection Compliance, Central Information Control, QC Training, Customer Claim Analysis, Line Approval and New Model Qualification, Customer Support, Equipment Calibration, Gauge R&R, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Failure Mode Effect and Analysis (FMEA), & Audits.
