• Handling claims portfolio for Marine class of business.
• Processing insurance claims from initial notification to settlement and closure.
• Ensuring claims are settled in a timely manner to the claimants.
• Regular follow ups with clients / surveyors / adjusters to ensure the claim is kept moving, thereby reducing the overall claims life cycle.
• Building good rapport with clients, carriers and other parties involved in the claims process by regular phone calls, emails and conference calls, to ensure best services to client.
• Ensuring compliance of claim files.
• Assisting the placing team at the time of renewal of business by providing them vital information on claims statistics.
• Assisting associates / colleagues in technical queries, working towards improvising the claims process.
I am working with Gargash Insurance since 2 years and more with UAE motor insurance experience with regards to personal and corporate insurance. Have a good rapport with the insurance companies as well as with the company corporate clients.
