Environment: Enterprise Linux 4.0, windows XP, Windows 7 and Oracle 10g
Responsibilities: ❖ Working on regular tickets
❖ Attending client calls
❖ All activities related to Daily Database Maintenance and monitoring.
❖ Installation, configuration and maintenance of Oracle on UNIX platforms.
❖ Creating and managing Table spaces, Users, Roles, and Synonyms.
❖ Adding/resizing/dropping the data files and log files with creating the additional log groups.
❖ Refreshing schema/table/database from Production to Test/Dev environment
❖ Checking Backups, Archives, Database state, Server state, Storage at Oracle and Server level, Alert log and Trace files.
❖ Creating and modifying primary database objects (tables, views, indexes) and their relations (constraints) and security (roles, privileges, permissions) on demand from developers.
❖ Controlling and Monitoring the User, Profile and Role Management
❖ Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database.
Devising Backup and Recovery Strategies.
