at each progressing stage of work, Monitoring the Estimate rates before effecting purchase carried out through Purchase Department, Filling up Tender Documents with quotes, Updating Tender rates in accordance with subsequent discussions and negotiations and timely updating Project profitability workings, Preparation and periodic updates of Rate analysis, Verification of Contractor bills, Scrutiny & follow up of respective reports from Sites, Visit sites for spot checking of quality and measurements, Verification of contractor's running & final bills as per contract condition, Physical measurement of quantities and tracking the productivity, BOQ preparation of various projects etc
I have more than five years experience as a Quantity Surveyor mainly working on Architectural projects within the Construction industry. My duties including Estimating, Tendering, Procurement of sub-contractors & agreeing final accounts while also is helping out occasionally with the programming of new projects.
Heading projects and looking after the surveying aspect from inception to completion. I have gained vast experience as how to manage and control costs within construction projects while working as a quantity surveyor and also working closely with the Site management, and the Design Team. As a Quantity Surveyor I am getting an insight into dealing with various main contractors and Sub Contractors.
In my carrier starting time, I have also served a short period of time working in a reputed company named Harrisons Malayalam.Ltd. as Site Engineer in a commercial building at Akkulam, Trivandrum
I also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Auto Cad etc.
Job responsibilities : Qualifying the contractor, preparing tender document, Preparing a comparisons statement, Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports, Co-ordination with client, contractor, landlord, and consultant, Tracking the project schedules, certifying the bill against the work, Cash flow statement, Interim bills, Reconcilement statement, Variation statement, Claims, Checking execution of all services like Fire fighting, Electrical cable trench, Hume pipes for data cables and All Plumbing lines etc.

Job responsibilities : Played the role of on - Project manager as directed, Generated and reported legal descriptions, and provided supervision in the preparation of exhibits to be used in the acquisition process, produced budget estimates and made pitches for surveys, and assisted in billing matters and monitored progress of several stages of project survey work, Responsible for arranging and monitoring the handling of title reports, Responsible for the generation of bid schedules and other related and needed documents, Delivered bid document packages to vendors and subcontractors, Analyzed the value of bids, entered negotiations, and generated necessary papers such as subcontracts and procurement documents, Verified requests for payment, and confirmed the payouts for vendors, Examined and confirmed qualifications of vendors and handled subcontract or procurement, Generated forecasts on matters such as budget and cash-flow, Monitored the actual costs and judged them against the set budget, and controlled costs as needed etc.
