Projects: Presently working on three projects. One project involves compiling a Rule Book and providing inputs to the software development team to create interactive software application. Currently researching and compiling
information for the same and going through rules and guidelines of various classification societies.

Two Ship design projects, I provide inputs by performing the following calculations
• Execute structural calculations and arrangement of marine structures as per Classification Societies.
• Conduct Naval Architecture Calculations: Hydrostatics, Intact Stability, Damage Stability, Propeller calculating
Tonnage Calculations, Scantling Calculations, Floodable length calcs.
• Calculating Design Pressure on Superstructures, Helideck, Deckhouse, Decks, Primary Girders, Pillars,
Stiffeners, and do the required scantling Calculations.
• Calculating design pitching and slamming pressure on bottom and the net thickness of plating required.
• Provide detailed calculations and associated information for structural fire safety, Access openings (Doors,
Hatches), cathodic protection (Sacrificial anodes and ICCP system)
• Calculating, Detailing the Positioning and technical details of Lights shapes and signals as per COLREG.

Projects Undertaken Design of 75000DWT LNG membrane type carrier using Aveva marine and Tribon: • Created Lines using Aveva Marine • Created surface and compartmented the ship using surface and compartment Module • Checked for its hydrostatics and Hydrodynamics according to IMO regulations using Hydrodynamics Module for different Loading conditions • Carried out Tonnage calculations, capacity calculations. Design, modeling and control of autonomous underwater robots This thesis gives a very good understanding of how to design, model and control an AUV aka Autonomous Underwater Vehicle. In the design we will be dealing fundamental concepts and physical laws governing the vehicle in its environment. Modeling presents an overview of the mechanical and electronic systems that can be developed for an AUV. Presented as well is the integration of various systems involved. Controlling includes navigation, Systems Identification, control techniques, testing.

Diploma, Electronics and Communication
  • at IMPACT Polytechnic
  • April 2007

Projects Undertaken: Device Control through Mobile Phone The aim of the project was to design a control interface circuit to which we could interface all electrical devices and control by sending SMS/Calling it through Land-line/Mobile Phone communication. Working: Each device is assigned a number (0-9). And if programmed for SMS control, An SMS sent "OFF" or "ON" to the assigned number makes the device react appropriately
