The above project involving high sour service units involving Liquid, Gas Separation, AGRU, AGEU, SRU, Incineration, CONSOLV, Liquid Sulphur Storage & Sulphur Blocking, Oil dehydration, Oil stabilisation, Oil storage etc.. The project was having large numbers of static equipment having varieties of functions and different type material of construction, lining and cladding. As the FEED engineering was handled in different offices located in Canada, UK, Hence, there was huge technical responsibility in co-coordinating, standardizing, reviewing and handling documents as a Lead Equipment Engineer with assigned Accountable Technical Authority from client. Executed various EPC contracts for projects for the major operators and independent operators, oil and gas providers, fabrication, erection and installation of heavy steel structure, piping, and Equipment, mainly for onshore and offshore plants with clients such as:

Supervision of Installation, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of Rotating Equipment, Pumps, Compressors, Structural Steel, Piping

Scope of work include, of vessels, exchangers, heaters, drums, condensers, tanks filters, etc., from Owners stores / storage point, erection on foundation furnished, leveling, aligning and grouting including assembly and fixing of other internal / external fittings and completing the vessels, exchangers, filters, drums etc., in all respects for commissioning the plant all as per drawings, documents and specifications and as per instructions as per installation procedures,
Engineering, procurement & installation of thick walled Reactors replacing the old multi layered Reactors. Engineering & construction of new floating roof tanks for finished product storage tanks, Acid Gas Recovery Project Revamp of Eocene crude De-Salters and associate facilities, Engineering inputs to revamp a 50 years old crude unit for another 15 years of operations with a new crude charge heater and additional new pumps. Bypass arrangement for tube bundle pullout for 20 large heat exchangers, Booster compressor stations & inter-refinery hydrogen transfer lines, Procurement and installation of new mechanical mixers for storage tanks, Several piping modifications/new installations.

Executed various EPC contracts projects for the major operators and independent operators, oil and gas providers, fabrication, erection and installation of heavy steel structure, piping, and Equipment, mainly for onshore and offshore plants, Installation of Process piping, AG, UG, OH, Pipeline with in Process, utility, terminal, Awarded as the Best Engineer ‘project design’ for the year 2007. Member of team of experts of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, fired heaters, package items, of the TCO - Vendor Evaluation Committee (VEC). Member of team of experts of the TCO - Contractor Evaluation Committee (CEC) for evaluating the contractors for new plant installation, revamping of existing unit.

Installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of Compressors and pumps, Handled design, detailed engineering and preparation of fabrication drawings for floating roof storage tanks & pressure vessels for TCO's 4 new process units under their project Nature of duties: Review ITB documents, issue inquiry requisitions, review techno-commercial vendor offers, prepare equipment, material and man-hour estimates. Verify and conceptualize the most optimum work methods. Identify a clear scope of work/supply and accordingly plan/schedule the engineering activities and manpower resource.

Worked in crucial projects, on payroll of Intertek-Moody International for their projects in Qatar Ras Gas, Dukan Fields, Adco-Adnoc onshore in the UAE for extension and expansion of Process and refining plant, Support Structures, Coating, Insulation, Racks, Tank fabrication,
Supervise, Prioritizing of jobs, Review of contract, organizing the preparation of the Technical Document Register (TDR), instigation of technical queries to projects/client, Verifying scope of work, budgeted man hours, deliverables & format of delivery. Verify contract technical specifications. Interact with Quality Assurance for quality issues, Interface and provide clarification and guidance and technical support to construction sites, start-up & commissioning. Contributed in obtaining ASME ‘U’ Stamp for pressure vessels manufacturing & ISO 9001 certification. For detailed design projects, the responsibilities involved, handling technical queries of Vendors, technical bid evaluation, recommendations for order, preparation of order specifications, review of vendor drawings, documents, etc, , knowledge of major industry Codes and Standards such as ASME, API, BS and Shell DEPs. Most frequently used materials are LTCS, Austenitic Stainless Steels, Duplex Stainless Steels, Alloy 625/ 825 weld overlay/ Cladding. Advising on use of standards, practices and design guidelines. Ensuring effective transfer of lessons learned / technical integrity issues to and from the Projects. Promoting HSE responsibility in all aspects.

Assist the project management of either a single, large project or several medium/small projects, by the Operations Manager. To manage a small/medium sized project with minimal guidance from a Project Manager. Control of the manpower on his assigned work(s) and shall liaise directly with the Project manager for manning and de-manning of technical staff. To interface with the Clients engineers for the project and ensure that all reasonable requests are met. Responsibility and but not limited to and ensure that project team is well informed, motivated and working effectively and efficiently. To keep project on schedule. To Keep control of man-hours / overtime. To keep track of efficiency, productivity. To ensure inputs to weekly and monthly progress reports.
