* Preparing complete costing reports with supporting documents. Preparing cost breakdown for other joinery items and preparing details cost based on tender specifications. Reviewing and preparing tender documents. Prepare material list to start production. To coordinate with technical team, QA/QC department, Production manager, Sales team and all people involved in project
* To take off quantity and prepare BOQ, Doors, FR Doors, wardrobes calculating cost of each item for projects and putting markup, preparing specification and quotations.
* Custom made Furniture Design & Strong knowledge of Joinery &soft furnishings/ Production Administration and Execution of : (Joinery works /Genuine & Artificial Leather works / Upholstered Furniture’s/Arabic Seating Units /Banquette seating/ Bed, Mattress, Bed cover, Pillows / Wall fabric Paneling / Remote control-Curtains/Design Pelmet /Roman blinds/ Venetian/ Wooden/Vertical blinds/ Custom made Design Carpets / Hotel Carpets / Parquet Flooring / Wooden and Vinyl Flooring works / Wall Papers / Wooden furniture)
* Preparing Production cost and estimation of fabric and other Raw materials for all kinds of Upholstered furniture and Curtain project.
* Coordinate between Engineers, Designers, Site Engineers
* Follow Up and Review the progress of works during the design stage & the production stage based on Project Time Schedule.
* Develop Monthly Progress Reports
* Plan, Direct and coordinate the interior Designs of Company Projects from the execution part
* Attend Progress Meetings with Design Consultants, Contractors & Clients
* Oversee the inventory including receiving, Packing and delivery at all organizational level:
** Research, request quotations, and prepare all documents related to the procurement department pertaining to:
* LPO
* Quotations
* Comparison
* Execution of Decoration and Furnishing work for Residential and Commercial Projects.
* Provide Pictorial Diagram by showing the Interior arrangement or Presentation diagram of furnishing and display boards.
* Computer literacy in AutoCAD and experience in all kinds of Operational works in windows and their applications.
* Office administration and assisting in the same by Preparation of Quotations and Quantity Survey. Coordination between Factory / Site workers and Design Dept.
Other Responsibilities:
* Material sourcing for Alternates, Negotiation and finalization
* Handling of Projects from Costing to Invoicing
* Undertake other duties and tasks as may lie within the scope of this post to ensure effective delivery and development of services.
Coordination with our Design department and various sub-Contractors (Gypsum work, Electrical, Plumbing, Marble & Tiles work, Joinery, Soft furnishing, carpet, Decor paints etc..)
Preparing of LPO for project purchases.
Preparing of Site day to day progress report.
Project chart for joinery and Soft furnishing.
Coordinating with senior estimator & assisting for BOQ preparation, quantity surveying department
* Intermediate passed. * +2 Course passed. * Draughtsman Civil - 2 Years course obtained in 80% marks.(Certified by: Central Govt. of India) * Interior Designing & Decoration - 1 Year course (Certified by: Canada-India Institutional Cooperational Project- C.I.I.C.P (Govt. Polytechnic - Kottayam) * Diploma in Office Automation. * Course Certificate in AutoCAD.
