The QP District Project is designed to be a complex of nine “state of the art” High-Rise buildings, which will serve the global, regional and local needs of Qatar Petroleum (QP), the national company responsible for all oil and gas industry processes in Qatar. Located near the Corniche in downtown Doha, the QP District Project is to be built on a 71, 697 m2 site bounded by Al Adaid, Al Betra, Al Kharais and Majlis Al Taawon streets. The completed development will comprise:

-Nine, fully-fitted, commercial towers ranging from 17 to 47 office floors (total net office area 220, 000 m2);
-Five star hotel (400 key approx.) and convention centre;
-3 levels of basement car parking and a 6 level parking garage and three level podiums with additional parking;
-QP shared functional areas split across ground and podium levels;
-An auditorium with raked seating, full AV and interpreter facilities;
-66kv/11kv primary substation feeding multiple 11kv distribution stations
-Self contained bespoke district cooling plant containing 12 chillers, providing cooling for the entire project.
-Landscaping and public areas.

Package1

Construction of a 600m bi-directional, two lane tunnel including approaches Road opposite the Emirates Palace Hotel Public Entrance and improvements to the Corniche Road West consisting of highway, crossing road, Service road with new signalized junctions

Package 2

Construction of 635m one-way, two-lane tunnel including approaches under the intersection of Baynoonah Street and Al Bateen Street. Improvements to the road network of Baynoonah Street, Sultan Bin Zayad Street, service roads and side streets and other affected paving, with improved traffic signals at a number of intersections (10 No.)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To maintain a safe and productive working environment by conducting appropriate Safety, Corrective action, Job Hazard, and Environmental Inspections on a regular basis.
• Develop statistical reports in line with company requirements and international measuring standards.
• Review of all contract documents related to the project safety.
• Review contractors Safety Program along with a description of the hazards peculiar to their work assignment and the firm’s nominees for the Safety Manager, Safety Engineer or Safety Supervisor positions Approval/Disapproval of the nominees for the Safety Positions with the contractor
• Continually monitor the performance and develop safety team competencies.
• Daily site safety Inspection with contractor management and to notify safety deficiencies.
• Coordination and Conduct of HSE meetings with all stakeholders.
• To promote a positive HSE attitude amongst project employees using an authorized scheme of incentives and deterrents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Participate in development, review and approval of various Project safety Health & Environmental Plans which are tailored to meet or exceed the Client, applicable country regulations and internationally recognized best practices.
• Carryout regular site health, safety and environment inspections
• Investigation of incidents/ accident and take remedial measures to avoid reoccurrence.
• Issuing of permit to work documents.
• Conducting safety meetings with all concerns.
• Conducting of evacuation drill & fire emergency drills.
• Inspection of equipment test certificate, Inspection of welding machine & compressor.
• Carry out of Risk assessments and necessary control measures.
• Inspection of welfare facilities at site
• Implementation of motivation scheme& enforcement scheme.

Selected to Indian Navy through all India entrance test and undergone Basic Training/ Ship training for 12 months based on merits selected in the Aviation Technical Branch (Aircraft electrical air radio) and undergone professional training for 3 years.
• Qualified to maintain aircrafts & qualified to sign the aircraft documents related to Sea King Westland Mark 42 Alfa, Mark42 Bravo, Mark42 Charlie Helicopters, Chetak Helicopters, Islander BN2 A, BN2 B and BN 2T aircrafts.

Carried out the role as Petty Officer Electrical Aircraft Radio/ Chief In charge fire and safety in the major fourth line, second line and front line air craft servicing establishments/ air squadrons in the Indian Navy, does the aircraft technical supervisory role in servicing 500 hourly, 200 hourly and 100 hourly on Sea King Westland Mark 42 Alfa, Mark 42 Bravo, Mark 42 Charlie helicopters, Islander 2A, 2B, 2T aircrafts & Chetak helicopters.
