● Leading the team of technical professionals consisting of mechanical planner, draughtsman, supervisors, foreman and technicians.
● To ensure that the procedures & schedules for the maintenance of all machinery & equipment are followed through out the plant by the engineers & foremen.
● To supervise the activities of utility foreman, tooling foreman, mechanical planning/support engineer & draughtsman.
● To ensure that engineering & maintenance records are kept up to date in accordance with procedure. Also to ensure that engineering library is kept up to date with manufacturer’s information, drawing data, relevant industry standards etc & organized logically.
● To control the engineering & modification requests, to assess and provide the engineering response to the request, and to issue instructions to proceed & monitor the progress of work.
● Prepare or review the purchase requisitions & maintenance contracts. To ensure that sub contract maintenance is carried out according to contract & recorded in company’s system.
● To ensure that other departmental records are updated like staff competencies, training schedules etc & plan the relevant activities.
● To provide input into development of procedures & departmental administration.
● Estimate special project time scales, monitor the progress & cost of approved projects.
● To represent the maintenance department in external & internal audits related to ISO, API & mill approval by customers.
● Actively Participated in environmental health, safety and security to contribute in providing a
safe, secure and healthy work environment in company.
● To find the replacement of old & obsolete parts.
● Involved and Responsible for overall maintenance activities of machines like Edge Milling Crimping U-O Press ID/OD Welders Expander & Hydrotester and machine shop.

● Maintenance & up gradation of mechanical & hydraulic systems, break down analysis and necessary modifications, spares planning & development of import substitute & floating global enquires for getting mechanical & hydraulic spares.
● ISO Documentation like Work Instructions, Preventive Schedule’s & Preventive Formats.
● Monitoring the application of Preventive schedule as per plan.
● Planning of jobs as per the outcome of Preventive & Schedule Maintenance.
● Categorizing & Maintaining of Spares as per their Preventive, Predictive & Schedule Maintenance.
● Maintenance of Plant equipment to achieve production targets.
● Coordinating with Procurement Department to execute timely completion of Maintenance or Planned Jobs.

● Knowledge of ERP system. And worked on it for Maintenance Issues.
