• Accountable for the efficient delivery of the project within schedule, cost, and quality standards.
• Lead the evaluation for pre-qualifications reports submitted by Vendors for Various MEP packages.
• Prepare the Tender plan.
• Lead technical evaluation of EPC bids & Lead development Bid Check Estimate.
• Co-ordinate with architects / consultants to finalize layouts and statutory drawings.
• Review of service drawings, tender & BOQ and provide information to design consultants on short falls or value engineering.
• Review and ensure availability of correct, consistent and comprehensive drawings and specification with the contractor.
• Monitor the delivery and work quality of contractor. Drive efficiency, review periodically, escalate issues and ensure corrective actions.
• Responsible for day to day site work of engineering as per plan.
• Review and approve the measurement sheets & payments.
• Ensure implementation of construction QA/ QC processes.
• Assist in quality & safety audits at sites.
• Monitor/review the project schedules and the budget for all MEP activities.
• Preparation of techno-commercial bid and vendor competency score card.
• Attending techno-commercial negotiation meeting with Vendors.
• Attend technical coordination & progress meetings to discuss the contractor’s submissions, shop drawings, material submittal documents and design related issues.
• Review the contractor’s inspection test plan and review all QA/QC documents.
• Responsible for MEP works in the data center.
• Design, implement and lifecycle manage data center power and cooling infrastructure.
• Involved in site surveys and solution designing for the MEP works in the data center.
• Lead data center engineering projects.
• Develop project documentation and provide advice as a technical authority.
• Preparing detail reports on the design of data center.
• Provide technical advice on managing problems within M&E for the data centre.
• Carry out testing and commissioning activities as per project requirements & specifications.
• Co-ordinate with architects/consultants to finalize layout.
• Responsible for structured cabling works.
• Monitor/review the project schedules and the budget for all MEP activities for the data center.
• Ensure that activities are within budgeted costs.
• Manage MEP issues and ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and standards using specified drawings, within budget and on program.
• Reviewing and approving the contractor’s method statement and technical submittals for the execution of work.
• Carry out final inspection for certification of final completion and handing over of the works.
• Attend technical coordination meetings to discuss the contractor’s submissions, shop drawings, material submittal documents and design related issues.
• Inspect the work done by the contractor to ascertain that work is executed in accordance with contract document and accepted practice.
• Review the contractor’s inspection test plan and review all QA/QC documents.
• Witness all test carried by the contractor on site and off site.
• Conduct regular site visit and verify the installations of the MEP works, ensuring compliance with the contract documents and design drawings.
• Designing of HV and LV distribution for various Commercial Complexes, Residential, and High Rise Buildings.
• Designing 11KV and 400V electrical systems, lighting design, fire detection and alarm, BMS systems, PA systems, access control and CCTV.
• Designing of Substation Layout, Transformers yards, Transformer & DG sizing, Panel & DG room sizing etc., complete with necessary protection.
• Designing of lighting and power distribution system complete with necessary protection for classified areas.
• Cable engineering for HV and LV cables Voltage drop calculation, Designing of Cable tray Sizing, Routing of Cable Trays, Raceways and Trunking layouts.
• Designing of Earthing system, sizing of earthing conductors, calculations for earth pits, etc.
• Preparing Working drawing, Scheme drawing & Co-ordination Drawings for the Project sites.
• Experienced in Site Quality checking as part of QA team.
• Electrical calculation with Load & Design parameters.
• Designing the Lighting calculations with DiaLux for commercial and high rise buildings.
• Attending the Site meeting & Regular Site visits to get the complete idea of the project.
• Co-ordinating & Follow up with Architects and (Plumbing, HVAC & Fire) MEP in case of any technical issues clarification.
• Preparing detail report on selection of transformer, DG and cables.
• Efficiently handling a team of 4 draughtsmen.
• Designing Electrical project works of high rise & commercial buildings (11KV and 400V).
• Preparing working drawing, Scheme drawing for the Projects.
• Preparing estimation, boq and tender documents for different projects.
• Preparing Electrical calculations with load and design parameters.
• Designing of Substation Layout, Transformers yards, Transformer & DG sizing, Panel & DG room sizing etc., complete with necessary protection.
