• Test all instrument calibrations on site and checking previous calibration reports.

• Analyzing the shop drawings which comply with contract documents, DM and DEWA standards.
• Assisting Assistant Resident Engineer in any specific job pertaining to Survey in the project.
• Setting out the limits of contract, recording Original ground levels and keeping the record in safe location.
• Record quantity of existing services obstruction and existing utilities.
• Checking alignment and levels during construction to control the accuracy of work.
• Coordinating with other inspectors during work inspections requested by contractor.
• Joint measurements for all items of B.O.Q as per project requirements.
• Record results of inspections, tests, work executed.
• Checking utilities, services, locations and ensure their protection

RESPONSIBILITIES
 Take necessary maintenance as a surveyor in surveying sites, developmental layouts as well as other topographical services.
 Prepare and maintenance sketches, maps, reports and legal descriptions of surveys
 Calculate heights, depths, relative positions property lines and other characteristics of terrain.
 Determine methods and procedures for establishing or re-establishing survey control.
 Extract set out data from plans and sting reports, prior and during construction.
 Ensure suitable survey procedure are adopted for construction set out.
 Maintenance and periodically celebrate survey instrumentation to ensure good working order.
 Maintenance a complete record of surveys for inspection by the quality control officer or project manager.
