Major responsibilities included strategic planning and operations of a start-up School of Design at its inception.
Noteworthy Academic contributions to the organization were development of ‘Unique Design360’ detailed Curriculum (from scratch) for all four years of study for B. Design program; specialization program content development for Fashion Design, Product Design, Visual Communication Design & Textile design; Semester-wise Faculty & course allocations; Class audits & feedback; System design for curriculum feedback & upgradation; Preparation of Academic Calendar & time-tabling.
Administrative contributions included development of Detailed HR policy document; Academic Staff appraisal policy & process; formats for Faculty evaluation & student’s feedback; Overall academic management & operations.
Also, provided able guidance & mentored the Admission Team for curating and organizing creative workshops for Design aspirants; Designed entrance test papers and managed Situation Exam and Interview (SEI 2019 & SEI 2020), apart from developing the basic roadmap for Admissions to the School of Design.
KRA included Top management of the School, coordination & implementation of B.A (Hons.) Fashion curriculum (Validated by Coventry University, U.K.), creation of academic systems and procedures specific to Fashion Discipline, set-up of infrastructure & Fashion workshops, Industry tie-ups, Design-related event management, Student’s co-curricular activities, admission-related promotional activities, Faculty Learning & Development activities, e-governance, etc.
Actively involved in design & execution of “DSK Design Olympiad 2018” and Admission Entrance Test.
Courses Taught: Design Foundation, Product Realization (Pattern Making) and Design Projects
Major responsibilities included the creation of ‘Establishment & Academic’ manuals, set-up of infrastructure & Fashion labs, Industry tie-ups & projects, Design-related event management, Creation of schemes & courseware for Bachelor’s & master’s programs in Design, Student’s holistic development activities, development of operational systems & procedures, recruitment of teaching & non-teaching staffs, admission-related promotional activities, Faculty Learning & Development activities, follow-ups & Quality assurance, etc.
Courses Taught: Pattern Making, Draping, Design Methodology, Design projects and Design Process (EOD & POD).
a) The responsibilities included Strategic planning, development of operational systems & procedures (online & offline), recruitments, admission-related promotional activities, Academic-Industry interface, Faculty L&D activities, curriculum development & review, benchmarking, implementation of creative pedagogical tools, curricular & co-curricular activities for holistic growth of students, Resource relationship management, Follow-ups & Quality assurance, e-governance, etc.
b) Course Curriculum Development:
Developed syllabus for Diploma, B. Design, B. Design-M.Design (integrated), B.Sc. & M.Sc and M. Design degrees in Fashion Technology for the University; and has been approved by the Board of studies and implemented.
c) Mentorship:
Mentored over 200 Final year students of B.Sc. & M.Sc Degree \[Fashion\] - for Design Collections 2010 to 2015.
d) Project undertaken:
Actively involved in various student-centric Design Interventions, creative range development, promotion & marketing of various Handloom & Crafts of India (for e.g. Phulkari, Tila & Durry works of Punjab, Bhagalpuri silk of Bihar, Appliqué & Himroo work of Maharastra, Hand Puppets of Rajasthan, etc).
KRA included Center & Course-coordination/Teaching responsibilities for nift /NiD aspirants at Academy of Fashion & Design, Kottayam, Kerala; conducting Design workshops, Preparatory sessions for Studio-tests, student’s mentoring, over-all administration, Curriculum development & Faculty co-ordination.
Courses Taught: Creative Thinking, Portfolio Development & 3-D Model Making.
Academic-Administrative responsibilities included planning & organization of departmental academic activities, industry visits, intra- & inter- collegiate extra-curriculum, exam schedule and marks compilation, faculty delegation for improvement of course material & infrastructural requirements, mentorship & coordinator for fashion show \[Final Diploma & Degree show\]. Also, external examiner for practical exams for B. Sc degree exams conducted by INIFD and Annamalai University.

a) Course Curriculum Development:
Textual material- prepared and submitted for Design Project, Fashion Studies, Elective \{Fashion & Accessories\} and Draping for Semester III & IV; was also member of the brain-Storming Sessions and final Presentations for the Course Curriculum Development, at nift, New Delhi.
b) Mentorship:
Mentored student of Knitwear Design - Semester III & IV during August, 2003 to May, 2004 for Design Collection’04 - (2 nift awards of Most Creative Collection & Most Commercial Collection, out of 6); also mentored for Royal Challenge Student’s Design Contest’03 (3 awards out of 13 collections mentored), Lace-n-Lingerie Design Contest’04 (1 award out of 15 collections mentored).
c) Industry Project:
I. Member of design team for Design Project for ‘Staff Uniforms for Indian Oil Ltd.’ (successfully completed and launched).
II. Member of design team & designed Four collections (Club wear, Office wear, Nightwear & Casual wear) for the ‘launch of Modal Yarns’ for Grasim Industries Ltd.
III. ‘Jacquard knit Motifs’ designed for Vidhan Socks private. Ltd.
IV. ‘Fitting test of Men’s Innerwear’ for Prime Textiles.
d) Other Institutional Activities:
I. Jury Member for evaluation of Situation Test for nift Admission, 2004 at nift, Mumbai.
II. Facilitator for nift, Mumbai Designers and sponsoring Industry for DSYN’ 04.
e) Co - Curricular Activities:
I. Conceptualized and Executed nift stall display at Career Fair’04, at Shivaji Park, Mumbai.
II. Conceptualized and executed nift stall display at India International Education Fair 2003, at Cuff Parade, Mumbai.
The responsibilities included maintaining the discipline & decorum of the college and smooth functioning & co-ordination between teaching/non-teaching staffs & students. Under Karnataka State Education Board Act, it was also mandatory for me to carry out duties like Chief Superintendent for University Examination, External Examiner for practical examination & evaluator of Common University papers for B. Sc. Degree \[F. D.\].
Course Curriculum Development:
Developed program & course content for B.Sc. Degree in Fashion Design for Mangalore University. The same was approved and has been implemented at all Fashion College affiliated to Mangalore University, Mangalore, Karnataka.

Mentored students of B.Sc. degree \[F. D.\] - Semester VI for Design Collection, 2001 to 2003
