Position Piping Engineer
Nature of job: ❖ Manages test pack documentation flow from Contractor to client for review and approval and back to Contractor for execution.
❖ Tracks, monitors, and statuses progress of piping test packs.
❖ Assists with review of piping test packs as time permits.
❖ Manages test pack documentation flow from Contractor to client for all 3 Fabrication groups
❖ Creates test pack database to record all test packs from Contractor.
❖ Follows test pack documentation flow from multiple internal parties for review and ensures timely review and return to Contractor.
❖ Tracks, monitors and statuses progress of piping test packs for all 3 fabrication groups
Registers pipe test pack document status in database.
❖ Tracks and reports progress to test pack completion to Project Controls department for weekly reporting input.
❖ Supplements Piping Test Pack Engineers with review of test packs as time permits
Safety is paramount and will not be compromised.
❖ Training in the company Incident and Injury Free Safety Process will be provided
❖ Line walk as per P&ID and generation of punch list.
❖ Correction of valve direction as per line flow.
❖ Replacement of gasket and bolts as per drawing
❖ Water flushing of underground lines.
❖ Air blowing and blasting of lines.
❖ Commissioning of Fire fighting, Wash Water, Potable water system.
❖ Commissioning and operation of Air Compressor and Nitrogen package and chemical injection system.
❖ Lube oil flushing.
❖ Re instatement of lines after blowing and blasting.
❖ Leak test of lines and Nitrogen purging (Filing)
❖ Chemical handling, loading in vessel.
❖ To ensure that the work permit for entire job is available and job is being carried out as per procedure.
❖ Subcontractor coordination with regards to their daily activities: mechanical completion, commissioning and start up.
❖ Attend the hydro tests performed on site, test packages mechanical check and advise the technical punches before reinstatement.
❖ Monitor Equipment/Materials availability at the Warehouse
❖ Attend meetings and advise Subcontractor the priorities to be taken into consideration.
Monitor work progress in accordance with their submitted work schedule
Attend the production meetings
❖ Keep daily activity progress record and log any problems that may exist for immediate action
❖ Ensure safety practices on site, report in routine observation reports cases of good or bad practices which might affect the safety on site.
❖ Inform Group leader about any technical problems that may arise at site to avoid delaying of working schedule.

Current professional experience is as follows:-
Management of installation, testing of total underground & above ground Piping network which includes Crude lines, Flush oil lines, Fire Water System, Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Open Drain and Closed drain system.
➢ The responsibilities include but not limited to be Engineering, Installation, testing and commissioning.
➢ Carry out inspection, site survey and dimensional check to ensure piping installation are as design drawing and specifications and comply with project.
➢ Confirm that work complies with quality, safety, health and environment requirements.

➢ Ensuring that the contractor generates the required as built drawings as required by the project procedure.
➢ Compliance of punch list in conjunction with the contractor.
➢ Coordinate piping fabrication activities for shut down activities.
➢ Coordinate piping spools pressure tests.
➢ Submit the work permit in a daily safety meeting.
➢ Coordinate piping installation according to the refurbishment schedule
➢ Check the piping NDT status as per needs.
➢ Check the piping painting and insulation status as per schedule
