Manage day to day operations of Grain Silos with a capacity 44, 500 MT.
• Daily operations include receiving, storing and transferring of grain.
• Monitor, maintain, and verify inventory accuracy and product levels on a day to day basis.
• Manage the inventory, run Cycle Count and write off any variance.
• Maintain inventory tracking databases, correspondence files, and financial records.
• Optimum utilization of available space, by planning and storing grain as per the consumption of mill. • Coordinate with Flour and Feed mill & transfer grain as per production plan.
• 100% online transactions; posting in system as per the physical transfers without any delays.
• Sampling of grain before receiving it in Silos to check for the quality and infestation.
• Plan out fumigation of Silos /Grain to ensure 0% infestation.
• Planning of Maintenance works in the plant whenever needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable worksite safety regulations for accident free operations.
Maintain Raw material in Silo, from blender area to Silo floor.
• Transfer Silo to small movable hoppers as per plan.
• Set up machinery (Willems Bulk VFFS Baling Filling Machine) for operation.
• Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
• Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures
• Report problems to supervisor if any immediately
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
