• Establishing and supervising operations of construction projects in Jeddah and Al Makkah Al Mukkaramah, KSA.
• Liaising with the JV Partner & their representatives and Design Teams based in Dubai for the drawings.
• Meeting and working closely with the potential clients and remain to be their preferred point of contact for their potential business.
• Managing the day to day operational aspects of the Projects.
Project Management
Handling end to end projects encompassing planning, design, estimation, scope definition, finalisation of techno-commercial aspects and implementing quality standards.
Using techniques/ tools like AutoCAD and Preparation and Review of structural designs, drawings and project plans.
Maintaining coordination with clients, consultants & core team for screening studies, site selection, concept and feasibility assessments and the production of basic design packages for new projects.
Driving a team of multi-disciplinary professionals and liaising with the client at all stages of the project for securing approvals, finalisation of specifications, reporting progress and final handover.
Attending the weekly and monthly progress review meetings with the client, as well as weekly quality and safety meetings.
Construction Management
Preparing detailed construction method statements, work preparation, equipment, planning & temporary works preparation for new projects.
Coordinating with contracting firms in all aspects for appropriate handling of projects.
Guiding cross-functional teams for handling civil, electrical, and mechanical and HVAC works. Looking after matters pertaining to local statutory bodies, architects, and process technologists to troubleshoot customer issues.
Monitoring and ensuring efficient inventory management.
Contract Management/ Techno-commercial Activities
Maintaining coordination with consultants, contractors and clients. Undertaking Rate Analysis of cost schedule of rate items and extra items as per prevailing market prices; calculating the coefficient of rate analysis.
Preparing FIDIC based documents for invitation of bids for projects including specifications, finalisation of requirements & BOQ. Handling negotiation, review and award of contracts as per contract regimes.
Making preliminary cost estimates for construction and up gradation, RFP for procurement; invitation, evaluation of proposals & appointment of contractors. Executing & evaluating the on-going projects.
Interpreting contractual obligations/ rights. Evaluating technical/ financial problems for management reporting.
Quality Assurance/ HSE/ Compliance
Devising and implementing processes, in line with organisational standards and client specifications.
Reviewing and preparing quality assurance & HSE plan, ITPs, job procedures, TRA and suggesting modifications as required.
Checking and monitoring material quality received from vendors/ suppliers. Monitoring sub-contractors’ quality in execution of the work.
Adhering to international quality HSE standards and auditing processes to ensure compliance.
• Spearheading the project management of a 4 Star Hotel project (2 B + Ground + 4 Facility Floors + 15 Typical Floors + Roof), in the holy land, Makkah Al Mukkaramah, K.S.A., developed by a private owner.
• Spearheading the project management of a commercial center @ Balad Jeddah ( Ground + 2Parking Floors + 7 Typical Floors + Roof), in the Bald Jeddah, K.S.A., developed by a private owner.
