• Site Engineer for various ELV Projects (CCTV, Data Structure, WiFi, SMATV) including solving technical issues, providing advice, management and preparing reports. • Takes some of the responsibility for security, health and safety, and organizing and supervising materials and people. • Mark out the site for cable route, make sure designs are applied correctly (IDF, MDF/Server) and liaise with main and sub-contractors and the site manager. • Assist the team for termination, cable dressing, patching chords to patch panels & switches & cable labelling.
• Manage a team of Technician for the company’s client ELV maintenance contract.
•Responsible to conduct on-site inspection/audits of the installed security & surveillance systems on the "Commercial, Residential, Offices & other premises" within the Emirate of Dubai in order to assess its compliance with the security requirements of SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) - Dubai Police (as per the implementing articles of LAW 24 of 2008, LAW 10 of 2014 & other future Dubai Police Security requirements). Moreover, based on the result of the security assessment, responsible also, to generate the official audit report "Pass or Fail" the installed security & surveillance system for each premise inspected/audited.
• Performs site survey for proper cable routing of Low Current System project. Installation, Termination & Configuration for ELV Systems (CCTV IP & Analog, Data Systems, Fire Alarm System, Access Control System)
• Responsible for Configuration & Set-Up of DVR/NVR, remote viewing (P2P, DDNS). Mobile App installation & configuration.
• Day-to-Day activities associated with the scheduling and installation of hardware and software, changes to configuration, and de-installation and relocation of equipment, including connectivity testing, data transfer and user orientation.
• Provided technical support to end-users, leveraging broad-based expertise to handle problem identification, diagnosis, resolution, and escalation via helpdesk system, telephone, and remote support tools.
• Developed step-by-step training manuals for end-users to ensure a seamless transition following application upgrades.
• Provide first level-hardware support for all IT devices (printers, photocopiers, scanners, structured cabling, switches, routers, etc.) are in good working order and they are maintained and used properly.
• E-mail set-up and back-up recovery
• Troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
• Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues.
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
