Manage Drivers, trucks and legal status of the company

Logistics Coordinator
Responsible for managing orders in the territories of Middle East, Asia, Far East, Australia, East Africa.
Management of numerous orders for different Customers and markets averaging $25M per annum and a volume of 20, 000t
Perform all data entry onto ERP system, PO to the manufacturer, shipper, Order confirmation, tally list, packing list through to final invoice to the customer.
Pursuit of marine insurance to settle damage in transit claims to reach final settlement. Average claims value USD 100, 000 per annum
Inventory Management
Currently controlling USD 3 million of OCTG stock spread over 4 stock yards in Middle East and Far East.
Responsible for release and dispatch of material to other offices or customers.
Stock count, inspection and refurbishment of OCTG and accessories for future sale.
Disposal of scrap material based on inspection (Company and 3rd party) and approval of management.
Reconcile storage charges and verify current stock count(quarterly).
Contract Management
Responsible for managing a 7 year frame contract in Oman, with $12M turnover per annum and movement of 10, 000 tonnes of pipes.
Single point of contact between Company, Client and freight forwarder
Responsible for Inventory management. Ins, outs, re ordering and accuracy of stock
Responsible for ordering new materials from the mill, shipment to destination, storage handling, delivery to site, including customs clearance. Invoicing and provision of all shipping documents.
Inspection officer
Inspect material as and when required for company and customers

Assigning the job responsibilities and priorities for the warehouse and material flow team.
Recommends, coordinates, and assists in projects to improve: utilization of available warehouse space, material flow rationalization, Project work in process and purchased material, inventory accuracy and cycle-counting.
Coordinating with Suppliers/Shipping companies/freight forwarders for prompt receipt/dispatch of consignment with various types of transport systems.
Coordinates and communicates with purchasing, production control, manufacturing, and quality control departments for verification of materials and material issues to required departments.
Ensuring all inventory assets are safe guarded from destruction, damages or failure.
Directs the movement of rejected parts from project site to the material rejected area and processes appropriate paperwork for accounting systems.
Issue authorized material request against requirement and updating of system records accordingly. Arrange manpower (Forklift/Crane Operator) for loading/unloading of material, Maintain safety and security in the warehouse while loading/unloading the materials.
