Plans and coordinate all on site MEP activities to comply with applicable owner contract documents, engineer and government specifications and requirements.
Establish and conduct internal audit to ensure quality control requirements are met and recommends acceptance or rejection of all works in process as well as completed work items in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
Research and develop solutions to MEP problems and conflicts through timely and accurate interpretation of contract documents.
Assist in the review and processing of MEP shop drawings and other submittals.
process request for information (RFI) and change order request through appropriate parties on a timely basis to ensure the prompt flow of information.
Coordinate MEP drawings to ensure all systems work within space constraints and code and keep current and accurate drawings of construction changes to ensure that accurate as-built drawings are provided by our company and our sub-contractors to the client.
Closely liaison with project team to ensure smooth interface and sequencing of MEP systems with various trades.
Assist in reviewing purchase documents to ensure compliance with quality control requirements and to ensure all MEP materials received on the project site are in compliance with contract documents and approved submittals.
Implement and aggressively enforce company safety program and practices to create a safe and healthy work environment.
Supervising the work performed by the sub-contractors under my jurisdiction by regular site inspection to ensure that it adheres to the project specifications and quality requirements.
Manage communication between the sub-contractors, field staff, project team, consultant and client.
Conducting internal meeting with main contractor, MEP sub-contractors and other sub-contractors for understand and resolve the issues on site.
Arranging meeting with client /consultant regarding MEP issues on site as per the site requirements.
Preperation of electrical procedures for installation, testing and commissioning.
Read and understand electrical design specifications and drawings.
Organising routine site schedule.
Making sure all electrical engineering components are fit for purpose.
Liaising with and monitoring third party contractors.
Attending meeting, writing reports and giving presentations to managers and clients.
Preperation of operation and maintenance manual.
Communication with main office on each project and give details about the same.
Maintain effective working relationship with field crews, contractors, vendors, outside agencies, public etc....
Review and prepare contract documents and making modification when needed.
Coordinate project activities with other departments, contractors and consultant.
Checking drawings for accuracy and error.
Prepare request for inspection (RFIA) and conduct inspection with consultant/client.
Attending meeting with other MEP departments and sub-contractors as per site requirements.
Conduct daily meeting with subordinates for updating the progress of site works.
Ensure the quality and standards of the work as per project requirements by regular site visits.
