Leading the Dept. of Human Nutrition and Health at Fadel Group Lebanon and KSA.

Main Tasks include:
•Managing the whole European supplier chain through contact with Key Account Managers of the World’s lead manufacturers of vitamins and raw material, DSM.
•Impartingtechnical support to local and multinational clients (R&D of the Food industries) in their product/formulation development through regular field visits in Lebanon and KSA.
•Managing the projects under tight deadlines from the start of the product innovation, till the sales and distribution of the ingredient in a competitive market environment.
•Organizing frequent market travel plans, innovation meetings and technical trainings.
•Conducting market studies to identify the needs of the consumers, evaluate the competition’s products and generate tailored solution with efficient cost-in-use.
•Partnering with DSM’s technical and commercial teams to generate successful tailored solutions with efficient cost-in-use.
•Performing trials with the help of technical engineers to ensure smooth production upscale.
•Monitoring distribution chains including managing administrative and Sales staff.
•Developing regular reporting to the top Management.

Main Projects Managed include:
-Promotion of Silesia flavors in the beverage, dairy, bakery, savory and confectionery segments.
-Application of DSM Dairy Cultures and Enzymes (rennet, lactse, bakery enzymes etc.)
-Fortification of food products with DSM-Fortitech vitamin, mineral and neutraceutical blends.
-Addition of Sensus Inulin Fibers for sugar and fat reduction and fiber enrichment claims.
-Vitamin/Mineral fortification of milk and flour in collaboration with World Food Program.

•Provided technical guidance to patients/customers in choosing the appropriate dietary supplements according to their needs and health status.
•Managed the following activities: receiving goods, stock control, inventory, shelves setups, customer service, stock transfer/sales and quality maintenance.

Completed one full year internship program in nutrition and dietetics.
• Worked on nutrition therapy in obesity, diabetes mellitus, cardiology, oncology, pediatrics, gastroenterology, nephrology, intensive care, surgery, neurology, tube feeding, pregnancy/lactation and metabolic disorders.
•Regular engagement with the medical team including nurses, doctors, and residents to evaluate specific medical cases requiring therapeutic nutritional interventions.
