horizons, well data of six wells and 3D seismic Pre Stack time migration data using Hampson Russell

Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC14) held at Abu Dhabi, UAE during 10-13
and monitoring PSTM processing of 3D seismic data of Wafra field with latest 4D
interpolation by Western Geoco, Schlumberger (
Simultaneous inversion and geostatistical inversion
• Applied AVO/AVA advanced reservoir characterization in Deep Water area to identify gas saturated
in reservoir sands. Applied most advanced simultaneous inversion and geostatistical inversion
technique for the determination of lambda, Mu/rho and poisson ratio to analyse fluid substitution in
clastic sequences.
• Interpreted 3D seismic data of Kutch deep waters, Godavari Deep waters, Mannar deep water area,
GSDW area of Kutch Saurashtra area, India using seiswork for tracking, Zmap Plus for contouring,
stratimagic for unsupervised facies analysis, Voxelgeo for geobody identification and visualization,
inversion on Strata of Hampson Russell, Volumetric calculations on Stratamodel and generating
depositional models, Structure map preparation with the map migration on Geodepth. Prepared
depositional models and identified prospects.
• Geostatistical Inversion of Kutch Deep Water data to generate depositional model (Petrotech
paper no. 9 - Best Paper Award)
• Interpreted 3D-seismic data of Kamlapuram area using Geoframe, Contouring with CPS-3,
geostatistical facies analysis using Truncated Gaussian model in RC2 of Veritas softwares, volume
visualization for geobody identification and fault analysis in Voxelgeo, inversion and porosity
mapping using Strata and Emerge of Hampson Russell. Prepared depositional models of reservoir
facies for exploratory locations.
• Interpretation of 3D-seismic data of Nelam Project, Mumbai, India using Landmark softwares,
inversion on Strata, cross validation of seismic attributes through Emerge using Neural network.
Generated maps of petrophysical properties using Emerge, Ismap and RC square.
• Interpretation of 3D seismic data of Mandapeta area, Krishna Godavari Basin, India on landmark
workstation.
• Inversion and depositional models of Mannar Deep water, Cauvery basin and Heera offshore,
Mumbai area to confirm proposed locations.
• Derived pseudo logs volume in Gandhar area, Cambay Basin using emerge and correlated impedance
to identify lenticular reservoir sands in the area of study.

Applied Kriging, Cokriging, Collocated Cokriging, Non-linear geostatistical methods, such as
Disjunctive Kriging, non-stationary modelling and various Simulation techniques such as Truncated
Gaussian, Truncated Pluri Gaussian, sequential indicator, Boolean models etc.to model lithofacies,
meandering channels to derive a realistic depositional model of subsurface with real and synthetic
data.
• Estimated reserve of the mining fields applying non-linear geostatistical method.
• Geostatistical simulations for 3D Geological Modeling of lithofacies of kolliken area in Switzerland
using Truncated Pluri Gaussian model, the latest and most advanced method for geostatistical
modeling. Delineated a heterogeneous permeability field for the formations underlying the landfill and
remedial measures to stop further contamination have been taken on the basis of this 3D depositional
model.
Interpreted 3D-seismic data of South Kadi and Gandhar Fields, Cambay Basin, India to delineate
lenticular thin pay sands embedded in shales using Attribute Imaging Techniques and Seismic
Inversion. Minimized uncertainty in reservoir description through establishing correlation between
seismic attributes and petrophysical properties such as porosity, water saturation, net pay thickness
using collocated cokriging and simulations, tools based on geostatistics such as Log Property
Mapping. Generated Structure maps using CPS-3 contouring package. Identified prospect, Proposed
exploratory and development locations integrating the results of drilled wells of the area of study.
Launched various Intensive Business Promotion drives to attract investments in various rounds of
biddings, evaluated tenders for joint ventures in India.
