• Looking after operation and maintenance of Komatsu PC 1250 & PC 450 Excavators, Rigid and Articulated Dumpers, D275 Dozers, GD755 Graders, WA900 Wheel Loaders and D65 Dozers and Wirtgen SM2200 Surface miners, Atlas Copco ROC drill machine
• Operation and maintenance of Sandvik Top hammer drill machine and Atlas copco ROC drilling machine
• Spare parts planning and management for smooth operation and availability of the equipment.
• Regular monitoring and reporting of consumption of spares, lubricant and fuel
• Follow up with OEM for warranty spares
• Insurance claim submission and follow up
• Preparation of monthly cost report, equipment availability and break down report and annual budget
• Look after operation and maintenance of CAT HD 785 (150 T) trucks, Komatsu HD1500 150 T) trucks, Komatsu HD 785 (100 T) trucks, TEREX electric dumpers, CAT D8R Dozers, HITACHI EX2500 Shovel, CAT 5130 Shovel and GD825 Motor Graders.
• Spare parts planning, replenishing and re-ordering of fast moving spares for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
• Annual Budget preparation, participate in purchase committee meeting in finalizing major orders, provide technical confirmation after verifying the specification of equipment and spares, prioritizing the procurement action according to the repair schedule to ensure spares in time and to minimize inventory holding period
• Look after the after-sales & service operations for Caterpillar Mining Equipment in the region supporting more than 70 mining and construction customers with a machine population of over 700 equipment.
• Condition monitoring of equipment and generate reports for pro-active maintenance and take action on the deviation from standard performance parameters
• Overview the operation and maintenance of CAT equipment in Coal and Iron ore mines
• Monitored complete after-sales & service operations of company’s products involved WIRTGEN surface miner, milling machines, VOGELE Asphalt Pavers from 5M to 13M width and HAMM Compactors in India
• Carry out time study, machine performance test, monitor efficiency parameters like fuel consumption, lubricants & consumable spares like cutting tools, wear parts and rubber parts
• Component life tracking through Condition Based Monitoring using various special tools and techniques from CATERPILLAR, Schedule Oil Sampling to optimize repair cost and achieve maximum availability
• Hands on experience in CAT ET, SIS, Electronic engine and power train troubleshooting
• Conduct heavy equipment maintenance training to supervisors and mechanics
• Worked as an executive engineer in MARC project (Full maintenance contract) of 38 Dump trucks, 16 Dozers & 6 Motor Graders of CATERPILLAR make in West Bokaro region
• Maintenance of Plant Machinery consist of 1600 ton Forge press, Electric Induction heaters, Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers, Hydraulic press, shot blasting machine, 500 cfm IngersollRand Air compressors, pressure vessels, Furnaces, Heat treatment plant, Diesel Generators and EOT cranes.
• Planning and execution of repair and maintenance of all equipment in Wilson 75 Mobile Work over Rig, Air compressors, Pumps, Agitators and Generators
• Efficiently carried out servicing activities for several HEMM Equipments such as Dump Trucks, Dozers, Loaders, etc.
• Effective in overhauling of CAT Engines, Transmissions, Torque Converter and Hydraulic Cylinders
