 Implementation and successful roll out of Group Financial Policies and Procedures liaising with the Board of Directors, Executive Management, Business Units, Corporate Office and lead consultant, Ernst & Young.

 Negotiated over USD 250 Million of Term Loans and financing structures at competitive pricing towards critical deals on Heavy Equipments, Engineering, Construction and Real Estate transactions and for new capital investments.
 Review monthly Group Financial Reporting, Financial Statements analysis, Group Financial Consolidation, Group Cash Flow consolidation, working capital management, statutory audit assistance including release of monthly commentary for MIS.
 Lead the Oracle Financials ERP implementation team working closely with Business Units, Group IT and consultants.
 Capital structure planning and set up banking relationships and operations for new overseas ventures (Baskin Robbins Australia), international tax planning, funds movements from overseas tax paying entities and management of Group foreign exchange exposure in line with market movements and Group foreign exchange hedging guidelines.
 Execute monthly Compliance Reviews, Q&A sessions with Business Unit Financial Controllers and General Managers, financial processes reengineering and continuous improvement of internal controls across 20+ Group companies.
 Streamlined and rolled out Group Financial Delegation of Authority (DoA) and Credit DoA including continuous review in line with changing business and commercial environment and ensuring strict compliance.
 Executive support to the Board of Directors, Group CEO and Corporate Functional Heads on matters related to Group Financial Policies, procedures, compliance, risk management, Group Treasury, and act as an advisory to all Business Units.
 Joined as Group Treasury & Compliance Manager and promoted to Head Group Treasury & Compliance in 2013.

With the largest private real estate developer in Dubai, the role involved -
 In challenging times, and in an industry adversely affected, lead the core Finance team of 25+ staff with 3 Managers in the absence of a CFO, reporting to Chairman.
 Head the financial accounting and reporting function including monthly closing of books of account, profitability, project progress and cash flow projections for the Properties, Facilities Management and Retail businesses.
 Lead statutory audit process from planning to sign off for Damac Properties, Versace Home and Facilities Management.
 Setup operations of Versace Home, a new retail business into Home interiors.
 Executive support to Management in driving the business forward in challenging times highlighting areas of risk in terms of compliance, litigations, cash flow management and project consolidations.
 Oversee the Treasury function including fund management in line with RERA regulations.
 Manage the systems administration function of Oracle Financials ERP and Financial Consolidation Hub.
 Preparation and presentation of financial and profitability projections during IPO planning.
 Joined as Finance Manager and promoted to Senior Manager-Finance.

The Group is into Luxury Retail business in the middle east with over 350 stores spread across the region, representing a diverse portfolio of over 110 international prestigious brands with a manufacturing facility in Switzerland.
 Head the Finance, Accounting and IT function for all the mono brand boutiques across Middle East managing a team of 20+ staff and management of relationship with Principals (Richemont, Swatch Group, Dunhill, etc).
 Set up many luxury retail boutiques across the region, involved in negotiations for store rentals, POS arrangements, coordination with Principals, insurance and banking arrangements, planning staffing levels and the like.
 Preparation of MIS reports including analysis of overheads, reports on Inventory levels, margin analysis and provide executive support to management on key decisions.
 Lead the statutory audit process from planning to sign-off, turnover audits for Malls.
 Preparation and review of Budgets and forecasts and manage sales targets and incentive mechanisms.
 Achieved significant cost reductions by proactive financial planning with commercial acumen.
