Leads all aspects of quality on the assigned project including supervising quality personnel, overseeing implementation of the Project Quality Plan, acting as primary liaison to Marafiq and Red Sea on all project quality-related activities, and being responsible for ensuring sufficient training is conducted for the project personnel on the Quality Management System/project specific procedures.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct inspections of mechanical installations and equipment on the project site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
Review and approval of supplier inspection report
Perform timely quality inspection following the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Router, drawings, and quality instructions in the shops
Perform visual and physical inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and firefighting systems, to verify quality, safety, and functionality.
Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and other project documents to understand project requirements and scope of work.
Coordinating quality activities with subcontractors and any other individual parties who may be working on the same site.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on matters related to mechanical engineering quality control.
Perform timely incoming inspection (materials, steel structures, capital equipment, mechanical parts).
Perform visual and dimensional control of weld joints.
Perform visual, and dimensional control of steel structures, including quality of painting.
Review and control of painting production process (temperature, humidity, thickness of wet and dry layer)
Participate in project meetings, reviews, and inspections, communicating QA/QC requirements and recommendations effectively.
Coordination with clients / third parties, following approved ITP, for agreed witness inspections & tests.
Ensuring close-out of all snags / punch-points within the time frame agreed with the client.
Reviewing and performing material receiving inspection as per company and client requirements, applicable standards/specifications etc.
Perform thorough review and approval of mechanical design drawings, technical documents, and material submittals.
