PROJECTS:
1. PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRIES LIMITED, (PIC) KUWAIT. (Project - 1738 & 2058)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establish project execution plan (PEP) including project objectives and strategies, Scope of work, project team organization, risks and opportunities, work plan and schedule, financial strategy based on monthly MCSR (Monthly Cost Report), quality and safety requirements, etc. liaison with the terms of contract with client requirement.
• The reviewing of project staffing including supply of manpower to client and substitution of client approved personnel and obtaining client’s approval as required. The maintaining of close contact with client throughout the project to ensure satisfactory reaction to client’s needs or criticisms through PQE (Periodic quality Evaluations) / PQI.
• The monitoring of cash flow to protect Project revenue generation through client venture in the project. The promoting safety on the project in conference with safety Engineer and team. The issuing of directions for job close-out, securing of the final project acceptance and contract release from client.
• Weekly meetings with supervisors / Engineers, meetings with client to discuss about the improvement and issues to solve. Enhance accessibility and support to Multifunctional KN Engineers to facilitate materials, transports, manpower and client to ensure smooth relationship between KN and PIC.
• Prepare and guide for Monthly / weekly report for cash flow through billing and outstanding, manpower availability, store stocks flow, invoicing etc.
• Participate Pre-tender meetings (PTM), proposals, meetings with manager of projects, Sr.Operations manager, PCD to discuss about project status and meetings with FAD, Payroll, Admin authorities’ to deliberate about cash flow, manpower issues etc.
2. KUWAIT OIL COMPANY, (KOC), NORTH KUWAIT. (Project-1806 & 2048)
RESPONSIBILTIES:
• In addition to above, Day to day activities of maintenance of GC (Gathering Centre) Equipment’s and its machines. PM, BD and predictive Maintenance activities in Electrical motors, substation equipment’s such as VCB, Protection relays, panels, cables and switch gears maintenance etc.
• Arrange manpower and ensure material, spares availability to schedule works orders etc. Provide / Ensure safe work environments to our employees by follow safety procedures such as proper permit systems, LOTO, PPE usage, Proper tools, etc.
• Attend daily tool box talks, meeting with area Engineers and coordinators.
• Prepare daily reports and ensure completions of work orders and release equipment’s to the operations.
3. KIRLOSKAR FERROUS INDUSTRIES LTD. KARNATAKA -HOSPET, INDIA.
• Position : Deputy Manager - Maintenance
• Period : From June 2012 to Dec 2012
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Day to activities of equipment’s maintenance in plant and its facilities. Manage maintenance team including a team of Engineers and supervisors. Ensure Materials availability and spares in liaison with planning team. Control materials and spares stock movement and ensure within the budget.
• Liaison with multi-functional department meetings and report to Managers. Experienced in Foundry mechanism and smelter equipment’s such as induction heaters, heavy casting apparatus, core shooter machines and Oven system etc.
• Ensure safety follow ups, daily tool box talks. Familiar in high pressure hydraulic system incorporated with PLC operated core making machines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Routine activities in Maintenance of Plant Electrical system and its apparatus. Responsible for PM, BD and predictive maintenance in substation switch gears such as GE, TERAKASI, ABB, Siemens ACB HV, LV breakers. GE multilin SR750 feeder protection relay, 369 motor protection relays. ABB and Telemechanique and Moller Isolators, S&I and AB Motor managers. L&T and GE Power factor correction panels, Bus couplers. MCC Panels.
• UPS batteries and chargers. AC / DC, HT and LT motors, DOL, star-delta, Soft starters. Maintenance of EOT, hoist operated overhead cranes and rope / chain hoists. PLC ABB, AB micrologix, Siemens S7 (200, 300, 400), RS logix 5000, PLC control, and control net, Ethernet and switches. VFD drives.
• Crude gathering Centre and liquid pitch handling equipment’s like Blower, pumps and Arzen screw compressor. Vacuum unloader related machines like endless belt discharger, chain conveyors, dust control equipment’s etc.
• Proximity switches, limit switches, micro switches, pressure gauges, Transmitters (LVDT), control valves (Directional and solenoid valves, temperature sensors and transducers etc…
• Rexroth, Yuken, Parker Hydraulic / pneumatic control valves, power pack, pumps and cylinders. Belt conveyor, raw material Tanker birth (silo), dust collector units and controllers, Airlift mechanism, air compressor and its dryer systems.
• Condition monitoring system by vibration analysis, laser alignment technic, RCFA for frequent equipment failure. SKF and fixture laser alignment / vibration kit used for condition monitoring.
• SAP, CMMS, MS Project, MS OFFICE etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Day to activities of equipment’s maintenance in plant and its facilities. Manage maintenance team including a team of supervisors. Ensure Materials availability and spares in liaison with planning team. Control materials and spares stock movement and ensure within the budget.
• Liaison with multifunctional department meetings and report to Managers. Experienced in Process industry of steel products manufacturing mechanism such as High pressure hydraulic press, power press, chemical cleaning system, welding equipment and substation equipment’s etc.
• Ensure safety follow ups, daily tool box talks. Familiar in high pressure hydraulic system incorporated with PLC operated press machines.
• Experienced in certification process of ISO 9001:2008 for the plant as apart of quality management system and CE certification from UK based client for the Electricals steel products such as electric heaters, chef pans etc.
• In liaison with ETDC (Electronic Testing and Development Centre), a government organization to test and certify the products and Sameer CEM (Centre for Electromagnetism) for evaluation of equipment’s reaction against electromagnetism.
Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics, 2000, 1st. Class (76 %), 1st. rank in College with 96% in Electrical Circuit theory - Jeyamatha Engineering College, Manonmanium Sundranar University. Diploma in Electrical and Electronics engineering, with Electrical and Electronics, 1997, 1st. Class with honours (91%), 1st.mark in College - Government Polytechnic.
