Head of Software Development- Responsibilities
Architects, Designs, develops and modifies programs, including prototypes.
Manage the development of enterprise applications. Key enterprise applications will include, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) with modules covering HR, Financials, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, CRM, BI, Document Management.
Researches product development options and provides analysis for product direction.
Consults with internal departments to identify customer needs and include project objectives. Provides support regarding product development to internal departments.
Manages and directs software developers. Evaluates employee performance, sets expectations and goals for the department and individual staff members, recruits, disciplines and trains staff.
Creates related documentation.
Integration with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (Cloud + On-Prim), Build Custom Services and AIF Services on Dynamics AX.
• Developing the project plan, Managing the project stakeholders, Managing Communication, Managing the project team, Managing the project risk, Managing the project schedule, Managing the project budget, Managing the project conflicts and Managing the project delivery.
• Mentoring system technicians and system designers
• Train team leader management skills, supervisor skills and coaching skills.
• Responsible for ensuring that delegated tasks are done accurately, on-time, billed within budget, and performed within the scope of the contract
• Streamlined operational procedures and production processes, improving efficiency and minimizing costs.
