· Manages Simple Projects including a sub project within a program
· Install, setup and monitor local area network. Perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation and training tasks to ensure LAN performance meets company and user requirements
· Administer network workstations, utilizing one or more TCP/IP or non-TCP/IP networking protocols UNIX based or non-Unix Based operating systems
· Evaluate and recommend purchases of computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment and software
· Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
· Troubleshoot networks, systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties
· Install, configure and maintain personal computers, Unix Workstations, file servers, Ethernet Networks, network cabling and other related equipment, devices and systems, add or upgrade and configure Layer2 and Layer3 Hardware.
· Maintain site licenses for department/Organization
· Plan and implement network security, including firewall, SSL to specific servers, Managing file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity
· Managing different servers and applications including WSUS Server, Active Directory, DNS Server, Kaspersky Security Server, File Server, Web deployments servers UNIX and Windows based, Google G Suite and Office 365
· Domain Registration and management services
· Investigate, recommend and install enhancements and operating procedures that optimize network availability (Cisco Router Management, Fortinet Firewall Management)
· Provide Training to new employees and computer orientation
Responsible for the installation and maintenance of IT Equipment including printers, Scanners and workstations. Supporting Customers using remote access technologies.
