• Perform review of all Contract documents for construction.
• Assist SM/CM in the preparation of the Project Division of Responsibility
• Coordinate execution of the project construction
• Monitor construction for the use of appropriate equipment, methods, and resources and review construction progress against the execution plan/schedule to ensure progress as scheduled. When evaluation identifies problems, work with the Contractors to identify the solutions and corrective actions
• Ensure enforcement of Contractor(s) safety programs

• Coordinate punch list activities for the issuance or Construction Completion and Taking Over and Acceptance Certificates.

• Verify Contractor(s) progress prior to issuance of Construction Completion Certificates
• Ensure the effective implementation of the Contractor(s) quality system at the Site
• Conduct coordination meetings between contractor(s) as required
• Be a role model for PGESCo’s “Zero Incident” safety philosophy for all project employees.
• Coordinates and monitor the implementation of the construction schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
• Responsible for overall supervision of PGESCo’s personnel, in assigned area of responsibility.
• Ensures performance evaluations are conducted on assigned personnel and counseling programs are maintained.
• Ensures subordinate personnel receive progressive training to enable them to assume additional responsibilities.
• Plans and implements procedures to ensure construction operations are continuously adhering to engineering designs, specifications, quality standards, schedules and budget.
• Responsible for coordination of construction operations to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
• Maintain relationships with the client and their representatives, as assigned.
• Ensure that PGESCo and local/national regulatory safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with in assigned area of responsibility. Ensures the Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into all aspects of construction operations. Actively participates in scheduled safety meetings.
• Perform general administrative functions inherent in jobsite supervisory positions.
• Ensures corporate policies and procedures are fully implemented. Establishes field procedures and objectives within the corporate policies and procedures, as necessitated by conditions at a jobsite.
• Review contractors’ invoices; technically and actual quantities take off.
• Generate the required calculations, technical, and specifications documents for the new projects.

• Responsible for daily monitoring of contractor’s on-site activities to ensure the work is performed in accordance with contract requirements.
• Develop scope definition and technical data for field issued contract change notice.
• Perform construction review.
• Prepare daily reports.
• Develop punch list of incomplete work.
• Implement QC/QA and safety management program.
• Provide technical guidance to contractors.
• Participate in weekly safety walks
• Review and develop ITP for all mechanical construction activities
