* Maintaining broadcast systems for the studio and manually intervening to enable smooth flow of activities by ensuring that channels are broadcast on time to the highest possible level of quality.
* Responsible for diagnosing first-line faults, verifying material for daily transmission scheduling to guarantee precise transmission phase, propose efficient methods for broadcasting improvement and provide live technical support.
* Performing periodic checks and adjustments to confirm equipment are ready for operations and use.
Liaise with assignment producers and correspondent to book a satellite reservation according to the availability of space and provider.
* Installing/ configuring broadcast systems including - Transmission Server, Ingest Manager Server, Editing Station, Remote Station, Multiviewer - Harris Product; Third party multimedia: Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, Edius, Adobe Premier, fiber optic transmission,
windows networks.
* Assisting the Engineering Manager in planning, preparing and monitoring, operational and engineering budgets for improving systems, products, devices, components, processes etc.
* Update knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis and implement media workflow management systems to manage personnel and crew, time consuming, facilities, asset, schedules and equipment.
* Identify and formulate operational procedures, generating transmission irregularity reports and submitting the same to higher management for further decision making.
* Technically support the transmission rooms in automation systems and server and ensure that transmissions are never compromised through developing an intelligent backup system.
Supervise the operation of transmission systems supporting video quality control.
* Planning, executing and delivering projects and providing the best possible solution within agreed time/cost constraints.
the bachelor degree apply mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development and operational evaluation of electrical, electronic and related communications systems and their components, including electrical power generation systems; and the analysis of problems such as superconductor, wave propagation, energy storage and retrieval, and reception and amplification. also in Design of Intelligent Systems, Control Systems, Multimedia Digital Signal Processing, Advanced Digital Systems.
