Customer Support Engineer
The Senior Engineer - Borderless Network is the second position in the Borderless Network team at NGS responsible to implement the networking and security related projects. The NGS Solutions Manager for Borderless Network supervises this team. This team is a pure technically oriented team focused on designing, implementing, installing, configuring auditing and supporting networking and security related solutions.
• Design, implement, install, configure, and maintain networking equipment, such as Routers, Switches, Wireless controllers, Access Points, Network Management Systems, Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Load Balancers, Proxies, WAF, Packet Shapers, VPN Concentrators, Nexus Switches Family, MDS Switches, UCS Products, and other networking/security related products/services for each project assigned to this team.
• Opening cases with vendors and communicating with vendor’s support teams to resolve any encountered complex problems in the assigned projects.
• Performing network assessment and security audits for clients and generating proper reports.
• Preparing Low Level Design (LLD) documents for each project implemented by this team. This requires several discussions/meetings with the client.
• Preparing Network Ready for Use (NRFU) documents for each project implemented by this team.
• Preparing Network Implementation Plan (NIP) for each project implemented by this team.
• Handover training sessions for each client upon project completion for each project implemented by this team.
• Providing internal handover sessions to NGS Support Team for completed projects with signed SLAs.
• Providing support for client for each project implemented by this team if an SLA is signed and the project is not yet transferred to NGS Support team.
• Coordinating with other NGS team members in any project to ensure a complete working solution is presented and implemented.
• Coordinating with Project Managers and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Coordinating with structured cabling teams and other team members to ensure proper project implementation.
• Preparing and providing Internal Technical Training sessions for other NGS team members.
• Actingasatechnicalescalationpointforinternalsupportteamincasethelatterwasn’t able to resolve the problem.
• Acting as technical escalation point/consultant for presales team for specific advanced pre-sales cases.
Main responsibilities:
•To ensure IP/IT network availability targets.
•Managing IT Backbone equipment’s including Cisco core routers (7600), Switches (6509, 4500), Wireless Access point (3700, 2600, 1252), Wireless Controllers (WISM2 module, 5500), FWSM module on Cisco Core Switch 6500, Cisco ASA (5525x, 5555x), Cisco LMS, Cisco load balancer ACE, PRTG, F5 SSL VPN, F5 LTM load balancer And Steelhead Riverbed 3520
•IPsec tunnel configuration and maintenance with Cisco ASA 5525x working on Active/Standby.
•Providing SSL VPN access to users through Cisco ASA and F5 APM
•Ensuring efficient working and optimization of LAN / WAN and Internet circuits
•Nationwide enterprise data network planning and operations.
•Coordination with ISPs and upstream providers for deployment of new data circuits (P2P, VPN, Internet) and troubleshooting/up gradation of existing links
•Train team members and enhance their technical skills of IP network systems
•Documentation of IP network for existing and new implementations
•End to end planning and execution of Datacenter and Enterprise network projects
•Allocation of IP Pools (Private/Public) and physical media to internal customers for new integrations
•Providing L3 support for network issues escalated by Engineering and IT NOC
•Open and follow up on level 3 cases opened with vendors (Cisco, F5)

Working for full time job as the Supervisor and network designer:
• Supervising for various electronic systems that includes (Surveillance System, Public Address system, In The Central Bank of Iraq.
• Project manager of e-learning system and intranet design of: The configuration and installation of video conference (Polycom system); CISCO routers & Switches; CISCO ASA firewall devices &Servers
• 2012-present Master Degree in National Aviation University (NAU), on Software Engineering department.
2006-2011 Bachelor Degree in the Syrian International Private University for Information & Technologies (SIUST) on Computer Engineering and Information.
