• Responsible for day-to-day operations of IP/MPLS Network serving in 36 regional POP across the Kingdom.
Essential Duties:
• Leading a Team of Network Engineers (L1/L2) to ensure the effectively responsibility/functionality execution to meet business objective.
• Design, plan and implement Core and Access Networks and work collaboratively with Specialists from WiMAX, ISP, IMS and Business Solutions.
• Performs analysis, diagnosis and resolution of highly complex networking problems
• Review, coordinate and approve network changes to ensure flawless implementation across the MPLS Network
• Provides ultimate direction for ongoing maintenance, project implementation and network operations
• Coordinate and manage the MOI Lawful Interception network integration
• Enforce strategic network standards in design implementation and operation.
• Identify opportunities for improving the network infrastructure and presenting to management.
• Leading interconnection POP links installation commission and testing with Tire1 providers.
• Project Management.
• Participate in tender evaluation and influence technology strategy directions.
Vendor Management:
• Accountable for network infrastructure and provide coordination with the Vendor for issues, roadmap, new IOS releases and upgrades.
• Lead and troubleshoot incompatibility issues with L3 & R&D.
• Leading the commissioning, Installation and testing process for the upgrades projects
• Re-engineering of network designs to meet customers’ demands incensement
• Builds simulated networks in test labs to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues.
• Planning, implementing & supporting LAN/WAN hardware, software and Internet/Intranet/Extranet integration network connectivity, diagnosing of network failures and resolving any problems.
• Maintaining and monitoring data center facilities and equipment’s to meet 99, 999% SLA uptime standards.
• Technical evaluation, development and design of tough service offerings and solution for co-location and dedicated connectivity offerings.
• Supporting the main account in Telecom and Government sectors.
• Generates standard project documentation including detailed test plan for highly complex networks.
• Generates network configurations from Low Level Design of highly complex networks.
• Support post sales activities to ensure successful delivery.
• Mainly post sales implementation for (Last-mile, CE, managed networks infrastructure)
• Implementing fixed access network projects (outdoor) and ensure smooth implementation/cut into the live network.
