Provide lighting application support and knowledge to marketing and sales organizations and support our value chain with Lighting Design and lighting application knowledge.
Key Areas of responsibility:
• Autonomously deliver lighting design support in projects for Sales & Segment.
• Transfer knowledge on specific applications to other colleagues and customers, in courses and presentations.
• Propagate new creative application ideas and concepts both internally in team (sales &segment) as well as among customer
• Participate to the development of the annual action plan. Self monitor the realization of my own part of the plan.
• Maintaining the required level of expertise in terms of specialist knowledge (light/ lighting, regulations, installation technology, lighting peripherals, financial and economic aspects) and in relation to the tools and resources to be used.
• The collection of market information relating to applications, lighting technology and lighting products. Communication of this information to the organization.
Electrical design department:
As a Design Engineer, I ensured that the electrical design drawings is carried out according to client requirement, specifications and Saudi Diyar quality requirements taking in consideration client desires, building budget, design budget, deadline, lighting & energy codes, economics, and convenience.
Key Areas of responsibility:
I reported to the head of section and responsible for carrying out electrical design and following up the draftsmen based on a given time schedule for completion of projects set by the head of section.

MAIN TASKS:
1. Complete design of electrical services from inception stage to final stages, consisting of indoor & outdoor lighting design, small power and medium voltage switchgears and substations, stand-by diesel generators and power management systems.
2. Plan, Design and compute, indoors & outdoors lighting layouts based on local and international standards.
3. Provide drawing layouts for drafting
4. Supervise the draftsmen in order to complete the drawings as per the given time schedule set by the Head of section.
5. Check all finished drawings before submitting to the head of section for checking and approval.
6. Prepare electrical list of drawings based on Architectural & Mechanical list of drawings.
I completed all the lighting controls technology courses offered by the Lighting Control Association (LCA) (a total of 26 certifications).
I followed three days DIALUX training for lighting engineer. The course has covered all Dialux software aspects.
I participated in three days C-Bus training in December 2009, where complete Home Control, Lighting Control and Guest Room Management System and case studies were provided by experts from Hong Kong and France.
