Reference Data Utility is part of a global operations team that provides support, maintenance, and research for Smart Stream Technologies Reference Data Business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist with evaluating client’s requirements and providing solutions on queries.
Source and Analyse reference data from exchanges and vendors.
Daily maintenance of reference data for Exchanges.
SLA Management and Accurate delivery of market data information.
Interact and build relationships with clients and data vendors.
Global Data Services (GDS) is a shared service organization created in 2010, which provides Reference Data information across various entities within HSBC Group. The core responsibility of the department is to own and manage enterprise reference data maintenance across multiple Businesses such as Global Markets, Security Services & Private Bank, i.e. the management of market data feeds both end of day as well as real time data from third party vendors for all Instruments.
Core Roles & Responsibilities :
Perform Reference Data input & quality checks for financial instruments across all asset classes i.e., Equities, Fixed Income & Derivatives in various database systems.
Routinely delivered on Clients expectations and supporting other internal team by fulfilling their requirement, by providing accurate data.
Handled the role of Queue Manager and contributed effectively towards achieving the agreed PLA (Performance Level Agreement) & TAT’s (Turn around Time).
Managing the daily exceptional task and working in a competitive customer oriented environment.
Interact effectively with peers and superiors to address and resolve issues.
Handling client queries with at most diligence.
