Julius Nyerere Hydropower Dam, Tanzania. A ($2.9bn) project. The hydropower project shall
install capacity of 2, 115 megawatts through 27 turbines, the project consists of 186-meter height
for the main dam, four saddle dams, power house, switch yard & 60 km of temporary & permanent
roads.
 Layyah Combine Cycle Power Plant, UAE. A ($650M) project. The combined cycle heat and power
plant with nominal capacity of about 1000 MW of electrical output without extraction steam and
about 900 MW of electrical output with extraction steam of 690t/h.
 Dubai-Aweer Power Station ‘H’ Phase IV, UAE. A ($300M) project, is a simple cycle generation
power plant consist of three (3) Gas Turbines F Class (Siemens SGT5-PAC 4000F) with total capacity
of 770 MW (1) gross power.
 Beni Suef- 4800 Megawatt Turnkey Combined Cycle Power Plant, Egypt (Engineering,
procurement & construction project) JV El Sewedy PSP & Siemens AG.
 IRAQ 4 x 400 KV GIS SUBSTATIONS the scope of works is to provide works and equipment,
including design, manufacturing, supply, delivery and remedying of defects in relation to the
installation at four (4) sites in Iraq of 400kV GIS Substations on a full turnkey basis.
Working in an Engineering, Procurement & Construction Company (EPC). As a Head of Infrastructure
Leading the Engineering & Site Field Team for the Underground Utilities and Roads, my role is to manage
the design progress of infrastructure and roads works in accordance with the Project Management and
Construction Management Scope of Services, and to ensure a high-quality service is delivered throughout
the Project. Main responsibilities include:
 Provides support to management during the pre-tender process starting from evaluating/
assessing tenders, assessing risk factors to arrive at bid decisions, and estimating all the required
material, equipment, and manpower needs to be able to arrive at reliable cost estimates for
bidding projects.
 Work with Construction Manager, Package Managers, and Delivery Director to develop
construction budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of a project.
 Oversees the engineering process, provide support and assistance to the technical aspects of the
construction process and the interface between design and construction.
 Ensure that design progress meets the overall project schedule requirements, including overseeing
design deliverable tasks and working closely with project manager and subcontractors to ensure
RFIs, submittals, and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
 Overseeing and promotion of the engineering and technical activities undertaken on the projects
as well as during the bidding stage.

 Monitors and reports to management on the progress of the project activity within the program,
including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.

 Oman National Railway project
As Utilities Design Lead, manage design lead functions for the infrastructure team, with complete
responsibility to prepare & deliver preliminary design packages and tender documents for the Oman National
Railway project as per the defined Key Performance Indices-:
- Handle project deliverables, production of the Utilities/Infrastructure design documents, guidelines,
tender documents, and specifications
- Produce utility plans to show all existing or planned utility lines & facilities & identify utilities if any
that conflict with construction of railway systems.
- Communicate with the client with regard to utilities aspects & prepare relocation/ protection
scheme after discussion with the concerned authorities.
- Liaise with various stakeholders & utilities providers to adopt their specific requirements &
guidelines to produce design documents.
- Coordinate & offer technical solutions to resolve problems that arise during the project phase.
 Played a pivotal role to interface with 13 different utilities providers to successfully overcome many work
challenges to commence project work to construction the first railway project in the Sultanate of Oman.
 Made significant contribution to define project deliverables & effectively reduce costs by eliminating
unnecessary work.

Engineering Consultant responsible for upgrading the local road and drainage networks and associated
infrastructure for Doha West area
As Deputy Project Manager/ Senior Infrastructure Engineer, worked as team member in the wastewater
department, offered design management & technical support to design infrastructure networks (wet
utilities), produce foul sewer & treated sewerage effluent design packages as per the Key Performance
Indices-:
- Leading the design team to produce full design package for foul sewer & treated sewerage effluent
works, including hydraulic modelling, design reports, specifications & bill of quantities.
- Coordinated multi-discipline design work, including preparing design drawings, design reviews,
building hydraulic models, bill of quantities, & reports.
- Engaged in technical discussions with Public Works Authority- PWA & other stakeholders to manage
work packages & successfully deliver within the project area.
- Extensively consulted & interfaced with all stakeholders and design teams across the project life
cycle.
