Key Responsibilities and duties:
General Accounting & Reporting
•Use ERP accounting system to input general accounting transactions on day to day basis.
•Reconcile and prepare Bank Reconciliation Statement for Company’s bank accounts
•Prepare journals entries for accruals, prepayments and other adjustments require for month‐end closing.
•Maintain & update Fixed Assets Register and depreciation schedule
•Inter-company reconciliation of intra company transaction and transactions with group
company.
•Preparation of monthly statistical & analytical report for Egypt territory.
•Prepare year end communication with auditors and 3rd party such as banks and
creditors in addition helping internal audit with their needs for any information.
•Participate in making Egypt monthly financial report (P&L) which sent to our HQ in Denmark.
•Maintain organized filing system.
Payable Management
•Recording of purchase bills for suppliers rendering various products & services
•Prepare payments for the suppliers based on due dates
•Manage supplier and company cash, bank transfer and cheque payments.
•Handling and coordinate with vendors and our HQ in Denmark for all issues related to Invoices, debit/credit notes and Prepare suppliers reconciliations on a monthly basis.
•Prepare the monthly AP trail balance, aging report and adjustment entries if required.
•Handle all company leasing contracts, maintenance, insurance policies & proposals regarding the renewal, termination, amendment and claim tracing for the insurance issues.
Shipment’s costing process & inventory control.
•Handling the costing process for the garment shipments which includes cost allocation of all charges related to the purchases like customs fees, royalty, freight, commission and formalities according to every brand to determine the proper cost for every product.
•Review of customs and clearance document to maintain and assure cost of imported goods.
•Coordinate with warehouse managers for all garment movements and physical count to make sure of the proper receiving and transfer of garments and determine any pending issues or transfers.
Key Responsibilities and duties:
Accounts Receivables tasks.
•Preparing and record customer’s invoices and follow up on, collecting and reporting activities according to specific deadlines and perform accounts reconciliations with the credit department.
•Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities in order to inform the credit and sales departments.
•Research and resolve collection discrepancies
•Establishing credit limits for new customers compliance with the company's credit policy.
•Generate age analysis & review AR aging to ensure compliance and make provision for contingent bad debts.
•Follow up and match customer's bank deposits.
Accounts Payable tasks.
•Handling the payable accounts cycle, reviewing and prepare the payment request for every supplier, communicate with suppliers to solve any pending problems.
•Analyze the monthly accrued amount for every supplier to showing the maturity for every supplier, follow up the checks cycle and journalize the daily transactions.
•Determine the budgeted payments for the upcoming months.
•Handle the accounts between our company and other subsidiaries company (The Holding Company), make the adjustment entries for every month which include the accrued expenses and withholding tax declaration, supervise all inventory transactions for the company branches and advising them in case of any problems.
