Internship: Radio Sales Department \[ Radio 1, Radio 2, Hum FM, Hayat FM, Josh FM\]
•Responsibilities involved:
-Playing an active role in one of the biggest campaigns conducted by the company aiming at raising awareness and promoting our radio stations and packages, in order to sell advertising spots to potential clients.
-Identifying new market opportunities, creating client databases and approaching new potential clients.
-Setting and attending meetings, working alongside account group managers to facilitate achieving agreements, business deals and long term business partnerships.
-Creating proposals, PowerPoint presentations and templates for our clients as well as following up with them to assure their continuous interest and commitments.
-Assisted Radio Presenters on road shows which at times would require me to Co - host a 3 hour On Air live radio show.
Received AUS Award for Excellence: Demonstrating exceptional and professional conduct in the internship program.
Responsibilities involved:
-Completing the quarterly workforce headcount of the company that would be sent and validated to be available worldwide on the Total database.
-Constructing surveys, researching and analyzing employee feedback of a particular event that would contribute to a portion of the company newsletter.
-Constructing a leaflet to encourage Mentorship program involvement.
-Analyzing and creating a visual presentation for the current trainee database to be presented and used by my mentor.
-Updating the quarterly organizational chart for the company.
I was one of 6 students out of few hundred candidates who received an AUS Award for Excellence: Demonstrating exceptional and professional conduct in their internship program. I did my internship program in a prestigious company in the oil and energy industry based in Abu Dhabi, Total ABK, working in the human capital department. Received Award for Excellence for “Exceeding Expectation for Team work and leadership” in 2012
