Key Responsibilities
● Budget preparation (P&L, Financial positon, cash flow).
● CAPEX budget preparation and control.
● Ratio analysis
● Financial reporting.
● Business plan.
● Feasibility studies.
● Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
● Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
● Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
● Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Directing the accounting operations at the factories (journalizing, posting) the daily transactions.
- Financial analysis of the factories performance
Recommending and implementing financial strategies to optimize the utilization of the available resources.
- Managing the budgeting process, frequently monitoring the actual financial performance versus the budgeted one and prior month supported by the required analysis/explanations for any deviation/variation and recommendation for corrective actions. .
- Responsible for the costing of new products, reviewing the cost of current products versus the standard cost (BOM).
- Preparing financial performance analysis package as follows:
Financial statements analysis.
Ratio analysis for liquidity, profitability, activity and leverage Ratios.
Conducts statistical analysis on sales data and information to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives.
Providing independent and objective evaluation of the effectiveness, efficiency, and application of operational, financial and other internal controls necessary to accomplish the organizational objectives in compliance with established policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and sound business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
•Conducts assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end
•Identifies and communicates issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk
•Supervises junior auditors assigned to engagements providing guidance and overall review of deliverables
•Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk
•Develops audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
•Obtains and reviews evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented
•Ensures adherence at all times to all applicable department and professional standards
I was responsible for implementing the (United Nations Global Compact) in my company and also preparing the COP to be presented to United Nations office in Newyork.
•Systematically sampling the adequacy and reliability of internal control and accounting system
•Directs review and verification of records
•Compliance with standards, policies and procedures
•Recommends changes, ensures that company policies and procedures are followed, and establishes techniques to discover and prevent fraud
•Selects areas for operational accounting.
•Develops audit procedures and systems
Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
•Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
•Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
•Analyze and review budgets and expenditures for local, state, federal, and private funding, contracts, and grants.
•Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
•Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
•Appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
•Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.
•Resolve accounting discrepancies.
•Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
•Preparing salary sheets.
•Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.
•Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
